With a single-pointed mind, perform the elaborate refuge ceremony. I and all sentient beings take refuge in the Lamas who are the guides on the excellent path. I take refuge in the Yidam deities who are the source of accomplishments. I take refuge in the Buddhas who are the essence of the three Kayas. I take refuge in the profound, peaceful, and free from elaboration sacred Dharma. I take refuge in the Sangha who abide on the Bhumis and have entered the path. I take refuge in the protectors who dispel all obstacles. Thus, or, to condense, accumulate the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha assembly hundreds and thousands of times. Second, the generation of Bodhicitta: Having made all sentient beings the object of your mind, may all sentient beings equal to space be placed in the state of unsurpassed, perfectly complete Buddhahood. For that purpose, I will practice the profound yoga of the path of the noble Avalokiteśvara. From this day forth, until all beings attain Buddhahood, may I not have a moment of peace and happiness for myself, but day and night engage in virtuous actions of wishing and entering for the benefit of others. Thus, or, to condense, I recite generosity and so forth. Third, the Mandala: Arrange it well according to the practice. If elaborate, according to the rituals of Jetari and Non-Dual Vajra, etc., which come from the Hundred Small Dharmas. If you cannot do that much, from the thirty-seven heap Mandala to the seven heap Mandala, the actual arrangement itself is made the basis, and you visualize a cloud of Samantabhadra offerings arising from it, and offer it many times, thereby perfecting the accumulations of yourself and others. Light rays emanate from the body, purifying sins and obscurations. All beings go to the pure lands. Then, due to faith, visualize the refuge object dissolving into light and merging into yourself. Fourth, the meditation and recitation of Vajrasattva: From the state of emptiness, on a lotus and moon cushion, the white syllable Hūṃ(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽)radiates and gathers light, and you yourself appear as the form of Vajrasattva, clear but without inherent existence. At your heart, on the moon, the hundred-syllable mantra surrounds the syllable Hūṃ(藏文:ཧཱུྃ,梵文天城体:हुं,梵文罗马拟音:hūṃ,汉语字面意思:吽), from which light radiates. Filling the body, purifying sins and obscurations. Light rays radiate outwards, purifying the suffering and obscurations of the six realms. Gathering back, it dissolves into yourself, and you visualize abiding in clarity and emptiness. Recite the hundred-syllable mantra as much as you can. Finally, abide without any object of focus. Fifth, the Guru Yoga: On the top of your head, on a lion throne lotus and moon cushion, the root Guru Avalokiteśvara.

The body is white, with one face and two arms. The right hand grants the supreme, the left holds a white lotus. The legs are in meditative posture. Adorned with silk and jewels. Limitless rays of light emanate. From the three syllables at the three places, light radiates. All worthy of offering are invited and dissolve. Offer with the mind. Praise with "untainted" and so on. With one-pointed devotion, pray to the lineage, and all sentient beings equal to the sky take refuge in Lama Chenrezig. Repeat this as much as possible. Finally, from the three syllables at the three places of the Lama, a stream of white, red, and blue nectar-like light descends. It dissolves into one's own three places. The whole body is filled with the stream of light and nectar. The defilements of the three doors are purified. The blessings of body, speech, and mind enter. Finally, the Lama dissolves into light and merges into oneself, so that the three secrets of the Lama and one's own three doors become inseparable. Rest in this faith. The second part is divided into two: deity meditation with characteristics and samadhi of suchness without characteristics. The first part is further divided into two: the preparation for entering yoga and the manner of how to practice the actual yoga. The first part is to sit on a comfortable seat, in the seven-point posture of Vairochana or one's own tradition's lotus posture, etc. In short, sit with the dignity of meditation. The breath is not deliberately forced, but left to its natural state. The mind abides in a state of unwavering clarity. The second part is divided into four: meditating on the support and protection wheel, meditating on the deity who is the support, generating the clarity of the deity, and stimulating the mind stream with recitation. The first is: on the four sides of one's bed, visualize one red ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih), each with the head pointing upwards. Above and below, visualize one red ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih), each with the head pointing upwards and downwards. The ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) in front dissolves into a curtain-like network of light. From this, light strikes the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) on the right. This also dissolves as before. Its light shines to the west. The light from the west strikes the left, and the ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) on the left dissolves, and so on, as before. The ཧྲཱིཿ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hrih) above and below also dissolve into light, transforming into a basis of obscuration and purification. Visualize it as a palace with a network of light and an environment, surrounded by a mountain of fire, the peak of which has a five-colored tent, which cannot be destroyed even by the winds of the eon, clear and stable, meditate for a long time. The second is: in the navel of one's ordinary state, visualize a white ཨ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal Chinese meaning: A). This radiates light.
