The aspiration to enter: Generate the desire of "If separated, it is unbearable," and take the vow of "I will definitely liberate them," and practice with the three connections of immeasurable compassion. Third, relying on such love and compassion, for the benefit of all sentient beings, generate the aspiration to attain Buddhahood, and for this purpose, practice the ocean-like conduct of Bodhisattvas such as the earth and the Paramitas, especially cultivate this profound path, thinking that it will eventually be accomplished, thereby purifying. Diligently engage in it through application. The fifth root, remembering the emptiness of the mind, is divided into three: cultivating quiescence, seeking insight, and practicing the combination of the two. First, the key point of the body is to possess the seven characteristics of Vairochana, and the key point of speech is to count the three natural states of breath entering, abiding, and exiting as twenty-one as a preliminary. The key point of the mind is to have support, such as relying on rosary beads, pebbles, Buddha statues, letters, etc., and without support, such as thinking at will, and without making any objects or appearances in the mind, dwelling in the nature itself, like a Brahmin spinning thread, diligently cultivate in a way that is neither too tight nor too loose, and if dullness or agitation arises, then counteract it, and the five experiences associated with the nine stages of abiding in the mind will gradually arise. Second, divided into three: gaining certainty about the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena, and practicing the combination of the two. First, the root of the evil views of cyclic existence beings, such as the views of permanence and annihilation, is the co-emergent ego-grasping, which is called the self of the person. It is merely imputed based on the five aggregates, and there is no reason for it to be established in ultimate reality. Cut off the superimposition with scripture, reason, and key instructions, and generate certainty. Second, the grasping of "mine" generated by the consciousness of ego-grasping, the appearance of external objects, and the consciousness that grasps those objects, and the general appearance of the consciousness remaining after the cessation of grasping, are also not truly established, just as the horns of a rabbit are not established, so there is no way to establish the characteristics of the sharpness and dullness of the horns. Third, in this way, the stainless insight held by the wisdom that thoroughly distinguishes phenomena, obtained through observation, is combined with the experience of the key instructions, and all phenomena are without object and unspeakable.

In the state of cessation of conceptual elaborations, abide in emptiness like the sky; in the post-meditation, ascertain the manner in which emptiness arises as dependent origination, and by continuously maintaining mindfulness and awareness, one will attain the realization of the union of the two truths. Secondly, explaining these five recollections by combining them with the profound meanings of outer, inner, and secret: Firstly, the guru who shows the path of liberation to oneself is the outer guru; the guru who unites view and conduct is the inner guru; the guru who possesses the essence of emptiness and compassion is the secret guru. Secondly, the deity who appears as the form of a supreme deity with marks and examples is the outer deity; generating the basis as the samaya deity is the inner deity; the deity who is inseparable from the path of wisdom is the secret deity. Thirdly, reciting the mantra as the instruction of mantra is the outer recitation; contemplating the wind in the form of letters is the inner recitation; the contemplation and mental activity of the cessation of sound is the secret recitation. Fourthly, knowing the six realms of beings as parents is the outer Bodhicitta; the great compassion without object is the inner Bodhicitta; knowing all phenomena included in samsara and nirvana as merely the self-radiance of emptiness and compassion is the secret Bodhicitta. Fifthly, relying on scripture and reasoning, severing the imputations of emptiness on all phenomena is the outer Dharmata; in experience, realizing the union of clarity and emptiness is the inner Dharmata; knowing that the nature of mind itself is the Dharmakaya is the recollection of the secret Dharmata. Thirdly, the subsequent activities are twofold: the main and the incidental. Firstly, if it is self-generation as a deity, then perform the dissolution stage and rising as the deity at the end of the session, protecting the three places, etc., as usual. If it is a single session, then connect with Bodhicitta, etc. In short, when the session comes to an end, seal it with the aspiration prayer of the Great Vehicle and the dedication of the three spheres perfectly pure. When engaging in conduct, one should not be separated from the practice of the three secrets of the venerable Arya Tara, which are appearance, sound, and thought. Secondly, the incidental practice of a single-seated session is: if one practices all of the above in a single session, then with refuge, Bodhicitta, and recollection of the guru as preliminaries, then practice deity visualization and mantra recitation as appropriate, and finally dissolve the clear appearance of the deity into light, and meditate in the state of recollecting the emptiness of the nature of mind.
