Likewise, do not harbor resentment towards those who have harmed you, and abandon the idea of never being free from that resentment. In return for harm, cultivate the intention and action of bestowing benefit again. Do not mock bad talk. In general, do not delight in exposing the faults of others. In particular, in response to bad words spoken to you by others, do not speak words that harm others. Even if a mistake occurs, do not respond in kind, but always strive to praise the virtues of others. Do not wait for an opportunity. This means, keeping the harm done by others in mind, not forgetting it even after many years, and when an opportunity arises to retaliate, abandon the act of retaliation, and instead try to repay with whatever benefit you can. Even towards the harm caused by evil spirits, do not harbor resentment, but cultivate only loving-kindness and compassion. Do not hit the mark. This means, do not speak words that hit the mark, such as exposing the faults of others, and do not utter words that cause pain in the minds of others, such as reciting the life-force mantras of non-humans. Do not transfer the load of a dzo onto an ox. This means, do not shift the bad responsibility that falls on you onto others, or transfer difficult tasks that fall on you onto others through deception, just like transferring the load on the back of a dzo onto an ox. Do not bet on speed. Just as in a horse race, one places hope on whoever runs fast, among similar practitioners, do not expect to gain more wealth, respect, and fame for yourself, and abandon the thought of striving for various ways to obtain worldly gains. Be indifferent to whether or not you gain wealth, respect, and fame. Do not do reversed actions. This means, if you temporarily accept defeat in order to be better off, or if you practice mind training hoping to pacify illness, evil spirits, and avert misfortune, just like a shaman chanting to cure illness, it will become a reversed Dharma. So, do not do that. Whatever happiness or sorrow arises, practice without hope, fear, arrogance, or deception. Gyalsé Thogmé said: "This mind training for a single thought is like understanding it as a method that benefits demons. If you do that, it is no different from doing Bön. Practicing Dharma must be an antidote to afflictions and thoughts." This shows that so-called reversed Dharma is like the wrong view of seeing permanence and annihilation, the meditation of clinging is reversed meditation, and actions that are inconsistent with the three vows are reversed actions.

Therefore, whatever contradicts the views and practices taught in the authentic Dharma scriptures, whether it exists in oneself or others, whether in the noble or the lowly, is called false Dharma and will lead to samsara and the lower realms. For example, like a wrong chod practice or using the wrong medicine for an illness. Some people call things they have made up or things that have come from treasures as false Dharma. They judge these writings and treasure teachings without even examining the meaning of a single chapter. This seems to be proclaimed based on the biases of their own schools or the circumstances of individuals. However, the Buddha said that no one other than the Buddha can fathom the minds of others. Therefore, as long as one's views and practices meet the standards, even if you don't like that person, you cannot simply conclude that they are practicing false Dharma. For example, just as there is no difference between the seller of good gold and the seller of bad gold. Therefore, the Buddha himself said, "Do not rely on the person, rely on the Dharma." This should also be understood, this is just a side note. "Do not turn gods into demons." This means that when practicing mind training, if you become arrogant and conceited, and your mind becomes rigid, it is like turning gods into demons, and the Dharma becomes non-Dharma. Therefore, when practicing Dharma or mind training, you should make your mind more and more gentle, and treat all beings like the lowest of servants. "Do not seek suffering in the limbs of happiness." This means that if patrons etc. get sick or die, food and wealth will come; if monastic friends die, scriptures and statues will come; if someone equal to oneself dies, only I will receive merit; if an enemy dies, one feels good, etc. In short, do not wish for others to suffer unwanted pain for your own happiness. Seventh, is the teaching of mind training: "Do all yogas with one." This means that all actions such as eating, dressing, sleeping, walking, etc., should be carried out with the single yoga of inseparable thought of benefiting others as the path of practice. "Do all adversities with one." Just like the adversity of observation, observing one's own actions. When practicing mind training, if many illnesses and misfortunes occur, if one is slandered and hurt by people, if one is harmed by spirits and enemies, if one's own afflictions become stronger, if one does not want to practice, etc., then think that in this world there are beings suffering such pain because of my sins.
