Since there won't be such perfect conducive conditions later, Now that you have obtained a human body, at this time of encountering the true Dharma, you must practice the most important thing that will accomplish the ultimate aspiration of lifetimes. That is, the affairs of the next life are more important than the affairs of this life; in the affairs of the next life, liberation from samsara is more important; benefiting others is more important than benefiting oneself; of the two, teaching and practice of the Dharma, practice is more important. Among other practices, cultivating the mind of enlightenment is the most important. And for the contemplation of reasoning, the Guru's instructions should be persistently meditated upon. Among other behaviors, practicing while lying in bed is the most important. Do not reverse! The so-called "do not reverse" is to abandon the six reversals: unable to endure the hardships of practicing Dharma, but able to endure the suffering of conquering enemies, protecting relatives, farming, business, etc., this is enduring reversal; unwilling to practice pure Dharma, but greedy for the happiness and wealth of this life, this is greedy reversal; not tasting the taste of hearing, thinking, and meditating, but tasting the taste of worldly enjoyment, this is tasting reversal; not having compassion for doing evil, but having compassion for doing asceticism for the sake of Dharma, this is compassion reversal; not using it for the principles of being human related to oneself, but using it for the prominence of this life, this is managing mind reversal; not cultivating joy for the happiness and virtue of samsara and nirvana, but cultivating joy for the unhappiness of others and the suffering of enemies, this is rejoicing reversal. These six reversals must be abandoned in every way. Do not interrupt! The so-called sometimes doing and sometimes not doing is because there is no certainty about the Dharma. Do not be distracted, but practice single-mindedly. Practice decisively! The so-called not connected with distractions, completely let go of everything, focus only on practice, and practice single-mindedly. Liberate with the two, observation and analysis! The so-called constantly taming one's mind with the two, observation and analysis, thereby liberating from afflictions and self-grasping. That is, first visualize the object of affliction arising in one's mind, and observe whether the affliction arises strongly. If it arises, then rely strongly on the antidote. Then observe how self-cherishing exists. If it seems not to exist, then rely on the object of attachment and aversion to observe. If at this time self-cherishing arises, then immediately abandon it with the antidote of exchanging self and others. Do not make excuses! The so-called
