Even if you cannot stop it, you should sincerely wish and verbally express from the bottom of your heart: May this harmer be free from suffering, possess happiness, and quickly attain Buddhahood. Furthermore, from now on, I will dedicate all the virtuous deeds I do for its sake, and generate such a mind. If the harmer is a spirit, think: From beginningless time, I have eaten and drunk your flesh and blood, etc. As a repayment, I will give my flesh and blood, etc., to you. In front of the harmer, open your body in your mind, and think: My flesh, blood, bones, etc., eat whatever you want, and express it verbally as well. Then, think that the harmer ate my flesh, and hunger and thirst, etc., are pacified, and the body and mind are filled with uncontaminated bliss, and the two bodhicittas are accomplished. Similarly, to all the spirits who eat flesh and blood, give my body as before, and think that all beings are satisfied, become happy and virtuous. In this way, all faults come from self-cherishing, so regard it as an enemy; all benefits and happiness come from sentient beings, so regard them as relatives and help them as much as possible. Geshe Langri Tangpa said: No matter how profound a Dharma gate I open and look at, all the faults are my own, and all the merits are the guru and sentient beings'. The key point is to give benefits and victory to others, and keep losses and failures to oneself. There is nothing else to understand besides this. Transforming adverse conditions into the path with ultimate bodhicitta is to contemplate illusions as the four kayas, and protecting emptiness is supreme. As it is said, no matter what suffering arises from afflictions and harm to the outer and inner environment, all these afflictions and sufferings are the appearances of one's own deluded mind, and there is no truth to them at all. In the conventional truth, such appearances are like being burned by fire or swept away by water in a dream and feeling distressed. It is a mistake to grasp what is not true as true. In the ultimate truth, all dharmas have no establishment whatsoever, so if you look at the nature of the affliction or suffering, it did not arise from anywhere in the beginning, so it is the unborn dharmakaya; because it is unborn, it has no cessation, so it is the unceasing sambhogakaya.

The one without arising or ceasing, and without any interruption, is the Nirmanakaya. The essence of these is inseparable, which is the Svabhavikakaya. Viewing illusory appearances as the four kayas is called the oral instruction of recognizing the four kayas. Furthermore, this harm-doer has encouraged me to cultivate the two aspects of Bodhicitta, so it is also of great kindness. When I am separated from the antidote and unaware of the arising of afflictions, this harm-doer awakens me, so I should think of it as an emanation of the Lama or Buddha. Also, when severe suffering such as leprosy arises, if there were no such suffering, my livelihood in this life would be exhausted, and I would not remember the Dharma. But this harm-doer causes me to remember the Dharma, so I should think of it as the activity of the Lama and the Three Jewels. In short, just as Bodhicitta arises through reliance on the Lama, through reliance on these harm-doers or sufferings, the two aspects of Bodhicitta will arise in me. Therefore, I should think from the depths of my heart that these are supportive conditions. The special method of transforming adverse circumstances into the path through the accumulation of merit and purification of obscurations is the supreme method of possessing four qualities. It is said. First, the method of accumulating merit is: When suffering arises in me, the thought arises that it would be good if there were no such suffering. At that time, you should think that you do not want suffering but want happiness, and the cause of happiness is the sign of accumulating merit, etc. You should strive to accumulate merit through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, such as offering to the Lama and the Three Jewels, offering to the Sangha, offering Tormas to spirits, etc., and practice taking refuge and generating Bodhicitta. Offer a Mandala to the Lama and the Three Jewels, and pray intensely, praying for blessings upon me, whether it is good to be sick or good to be healed, or good to die. Thus, recite the prayer that cuts off hope and fear. Second, the method of purifying sins is: If you do not want suffering, the cause of suffering is sin. You should think of this as a sign of abandoning sins, and with the power of regret for past sins, the power of abstaining from sins even at the cost of life in the future, the power of relying on taking refuge in the Three Jewels and generating Bodhicitta, and the emptiness
