修持此法之口诀,阿底峡尊者云:喇嘛达玛 Rakshita(梵文, धर्मरक्षित,Dharmarakṣita,护法)者,割自身肉施与他人,唯修慈悲,心中生起空性之证悟。

The Fourth Volume of the Instructions Treasury: The Seven Points of Mind Training by the Noble Asanga Bhadra. The Fourth Volume of the Instructions Treasury. The Seven Points of Mind Training by the Noble Asanga Bhadra. The Seven Points of Mind Training by the Noble Asanga Bhadra is complete. Homage to the Great Compassionate One! Pure in the three trainings, arising from the two minds of enlightenment, expanding the Sugata's teachings in the ten directions, and becoming the crown ornament of all who uphold the teachings, I pay homage to the feet of the incomparable lama. The single path traversed by all Buddhas and their sons of the three times, the precious treasure from which all benefit and happiness arise, at the urging of fortunate students, relying on the words of the lama, I will explain it. Those who wish to attain the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment should generate the mind of enlightenment and strive to cultivate both relative and ultimate bodhicitta. As the noble Nagarjuna said: "If you and this world wish to attain unsurpassed enlightenment, the root of that is the mind of enlightenment, which should be as stable as the king of mountains, and compassion that extends to all directions, and wisdom that does not rely on duality." He said. The oral instructions for cultivating this were given by the great master Jowo Je Lhachig: "The lama Dharma Rakshita (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), who cut off his own flesh and gave it to others, and cultivated only loving-kindness and compassion, and the realization of emptiness arose in his mind. And also the lama Maitreya Yogi, who was able to actually take on the suffering of others. This was received from the three lamas, including Lama Serlingpa. This is the tradition of Lama Serlingpa. Although there are many different ways of guiding, according to the tradition of the virtuous friend Chekhawa, it is arranged in seven points: First, teaching the dharma of reliance as preliminary practices; second, the main practice of training the mind of enlightenment; third, transforming adverse conditions into the path of enlightenment; fourth, condensing the practice of a lifetime; fifth, the measure of having trained the mind; sixth, the vows of mind training; and seventh, the precepts of mind training. First: First, learn the preliminaries. As it is said, the difficulty of finding leisure and opportunity, impermanence of death, and the faults of samsara should be contemplated.

Among the three, the first is: To obtain the support for practicing Dharma, this leisure and fortune human body, one must accumulate perfect virtuous causes. Among sentient beings, those who purely practice virtue are few, therefore obtaining the result of leisure and fortune is very difficult. Compared to other beings such as animals, the opportunity to obtain leisure and fortune is very rare. Now that I have obtained this leisure and fortune human body, I must not let it be meaningless, I must practice pure Dharma, I should practice like this. The second is: Life is impermanent, and there are many causes of death, there is not even the certainty of not dying today, so now I must strive to practice the holy Dharma, I should practice like this. The third is: It is said in the scriptures that good and bad deeds produce the results of happiness and suffering, therefore I must abandon all evils and strive to practice good deeds, I should practice like this. Second, the main practice is to cultivate the two types of Bodhicitta, which are divided into two types: ultimate Bodhicitta and relative Bodhicitta. First is the ultimate Bodhicitta, which is divided into three parts: preliminary, main, and concluding. The preliminary is: first take refuge and generate the mind of enlightenment, then pray to the deity and the guru, offer the seven-branch offering, sit upright, count the breaths, twenty-one times between exhaling and inhaling, without confusion or interruption, so that it can become a vessel for meditation. The main practice is: View all phenomena as dreams. As it is said, thus appearing as the object to be grasped, all the container and its contents are like dreams, it is the delusion of one's own mind that appears in this way, it is not something outside the mind, it does not exist at all, cut off the imputation. If one thinks, is the nature of the mind real? Then contemplate the nature of unborn awareness. As it is said, the nature of the mind is empty of the three characteristics of arising, ceasing, and abiding, there is no color or shape, etc., it does not abide anywhere inside or outside the body, the nature is not established at all, therefore do not cling to anything, abide in the state of non-thought. At this time, if the antidote of thinking that the body and mind are all empty arises, the antidote itself is also liberated in its own place. As it is said, contemplate the nature of the antidote itself, know that it is without self-nature, and abide in it. In order to indicate the way of abiding, the nature of the path abides in the Alaya consciousness. As it is said, the seven collections of consciousness
