To endure evil deeds and perverse practices is necessary in the degenerate age. The meaning of this is: In short, self is the source of all unhappiness and the root of all evil deeds, so do not cherish it, but completely abandon it. If the enemy likes it, let the enemy take it; if the ghost likes it, let the ghost take it; if people do not like it, throw it into the ashes; if they like it, carry it on your shoulders and run. Letting go in this way is for the benefit of all sentient beings. Abandoning one's own interests and striving to accomplish the interests of others is the source of unsurpassed Bodhi, so protect sentient beings with love and take suffering upon oneself. This is the practice of abandoning and accepting, which are the special practices of great Bodhisattvas. It is also said: Push far away, loosen and release, completely sever, and naturally abide. These are the four expansions of emptiness, which are needed to subdue the people of the borderlands. To endure evil deeds and perverse practices is necessary in the degenerate age. If you practice in this way, the practitioner will not be bound and will attain liberation. The meaning of this is: Push all clinging and grasping far away, and in the Dharmadhatu, which is free from elaboration, loosen and release the awareness clearly and without discrimination, and abide without being bound by anything. That is to say, do not follow the previous thoughts, do not welcome the future thoughts, and do not bind the present thoughts, but completely sever them, without fabrication or addition, and naturally relax and abide. This is like the expansion of emptiness. If you practice in this way, you will not be bound by karma in Samsara, and you will attain liberation. If there is another way of practice, it will not be possible to subdue the stubborn sentient beings of the degenerate age. If you have this practice, you will not be hindered by obstacles, and the work of benefiting sentient beings will naturally be accomplished. These are the words of the incomparable master Serlingpa (Golden Island Master). From the Amoghapasha Sutra, wisdom is called Bodhi, and the hero is called skillful means, and these two can accomplish the benefit of sentient beings. And in the Secret Assembly Liberation Drop it says: From then on, by compassion alone, all the qualities that are the basis will arise. It also says: If there is no compassion at the root, it will be impossible to endure suffering. So it is said. Arya Avalokiteshvara

In the Sutra of Gathering the Dharma Correctly through Observation, it says: If you want to quickly realize complete enlightenment and become a Buddha, you should not study many Dharmas, but should study one Dharma. What is that one Dharma? It is great compassion. Whoever has great compassion, all the Buddha's teachings will be in the palm of their hand. It will be accomplished without effort or exertion. In short, great compassion is the root of all Dharmas. Thus it is said. It is said that Lord Atisha received this instruction on taming the borderlands from the master Serlingpa Chokyi Drakpa. The Great Vehicle Mind Training. Homage to Maitreya Asanga, the master Serlingpa and Lord Jowo, the teacher Putosha Rawa, and Maldro Drakmarwa. In general, from the gate of mind training, from the beginning of the ground and path, up to the practice of the Vajrayana, there is nothing that does not include mind training. A specific name is given to a general name, so this is called the mind training of Lord Jowo. Jowo has three lineages of mind training instructions: the master Dharma Rakshita, the master Maitreya Yogi, and the Serlingpa tradition. Among them, this is the tradition of the master Serlingpa. It is said that this tradition does not abandon self-grasping, does not pacify the clinging to appearances, but cultivates bodhicitta, so although it is similar to the tenets of outsiders, there is no contradiction. For this instruction, first one must learn the preliminaries, which, if counted, are four: the difficulty of finding leisure and endowment, impermanence, the law of cause and effect, and contemplating the faults of samsara. The first is: being free from the eight states of unfreedom, possessing the five endowments of oneself and others, therefore, from the perspective of reasoning, it is difficult to find this leisure and endowment in hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas. Having realized the difficulty of finding leisure and endowment, one must make it meaningful, because any action in this life cannot make it meaningful, so one must practice Dharma. The supreme of Dharma practice is to generate the bodhicitta of exchanging oneself and others. If you want to take it slowly, the leisure you have obtained will not last long, so you must practice impermanence, remembering death. Because there is no one who has been born before who has not died, so one will die. One will also die from the exhaustion of life. The limit of life does not exceed a moment, so one will die. One must definitely practice Dharma. The life of the people of Jambudvipa has
