He said, "All our Dharma is drunk." Gyal's Kyangtsa Dorje Tsul said, "The tea water is boiling over there, please add some salt." Poto-wa said, "Meditate a lot on impermanence, and giving up this life and the next will not be difficult. Now, is it easy for you to drink tea, or difficult not to drink it? Similarly, briefly explain the law of karma, the faults of samsara, the mind of enlightenment, and emptiness." Shawa Gangpa repeated these words to Pukchung-wa. Pukchung-wa suddenly took off his hat and said, "Ah, that's exactly our master's Dharma!" Khampa Lungpa's (Kham Lungpa, located in Penyuk Yungwa, was a lay devotee who relied on him). If we are destined to die, then all the water will turn into butter, all the mountains will turn into gold, and all the people will become my sons and daughters, but what good will that do?" Pukchung-wa said, "Meditate on impermanence and karma! In this way, you will feel like you are seeing me directly. Don't make a whooshing sound, be an old man. If you meditate on it, even if you commit the four defeats, it will purify sins. This is my will." Neu Zurpa's (Neu, located in Penyuk Dra). His name was Yeshe Bar.

The Dondeng monastery was established. The main object of veneration in the main temple is the great reliquary stupa containing a skull. One of Neuzurpa's hands holds a hundred thousand gold dusts from Nyal. It is said that even now it serves limitless disciples. When the Lha Drikungpa of Ön met Dondengpa, Dondengpa saw the thirty-five Buddhas in the yogic posture of Drikungpa. There, they prostrated, and the master and disciples established a connection. Drikung was established and flourished greatly. Dorwa Rokmar Shurwa, the great son of Potowa, was also called Gapa. He was a bodhisattva of the seventh rebirth, possessing infinite qualities. He compiled the Blue Treasury. His great son, Drikungpa, wrote a detailed commentary on it. The great sons of Neuzurpa were: in Tsang, Jipa Lhapa and Tsangpa Rinpoche, and in Ü, Gyalwa Gyer Chenpo. Dondengpa said that in Samye there were Geshe Draktopa and many others. From his mouth: Remembering death arising in the mind is the first, abandoning this life is the second, practicing Dharma is the third, these three start simultaneously. Thinking that one will not die, embracing a corpse in this life, and committing sins, these three also start simultaneously. He also said that from attachment to this life, one is saved by meditating on impermanence; from the eight unfavorable conditions, one is saved by the law of karma; from all of the three realms, one is saved by the faults of samsara; from the lower vehicle, one is saved by loving-kindness and compassion; from grasping at characteristics, one is saved by meditating on emptiness, and so on, he explained in detail. In the past, he also made thinking about impermanence a supreme instruction. The queen of King Utra Taye, named Light, was destined to die in seven days. So, she was entrusted to a bhikshuni named Rima, an arhatni. She was ordained and made to meditate on impermanence, and after seven days she died and was reborn as a god. The Blessed One said that hearing the Dharma one sees the truth, as it is said in the Vinaya Sutra. Therefore, thinking about impermanence is the main practice. If one thinks that there is something else besides the main practice, or that this is just a preliminary to the Dharma, a mere means of entering the Dharma, then that is a great misunderstanding. Then, bodhicitta and emptiness, etc., can also be said to be sufficient as not being the real Dharma itself, because there is no difference between the two. Through this story, it is known that the profound Dharma of transference or dying is also meditating on impermanence. This is also reasonable, because the Blesse
