Care. Praise and degradation, and fame and obscurity. Getting and not getting, happiness and suffering. For those, liking and disliking. For those who have various kinds of discriminating thoughts. Don't think of yourself as a practitioner. What was done before, what will be done later, the path of the present. Does the motivation of the eight worldly concerns exist or not? Ask your own mind. Spoke. Thirteenth, abandoning the desire to pursue happiness: The good friend Sangmowa (Sangmowa, the lineage of Dagpo Lhaje). The ruler of more than ten regions. The lineage of great accomplished ones, proficient in many collections of scriptures. Studied the four tantras. By practicing the Six Dharmas of Naropa, the tummo achieved accomplishment. Later relied on Gyama Drogon Lobtu two. Saw the Buddha in person. Even after nirvana, he can be seen whenever he wants. Saw all the activities of taming beings, etc. When Drogon was asked for empowerment and bodhicitta, he finally manifested the activities of the hundred deities of Nor Sang Lama. At first, Gyerchenpo pointed out Drogonpa. Drogon said that he pointed out himself. The three teachers and disciples have endless biographies like that. Sangmowa later served as Drogon's seat at Samye Purbu Me Monastery. Stayed for eight years. Many magical powers and clairvoyance occurred. The great disciple Lhagedun Gangpa Lhasamkhab. Lhapu Gonsarwa. Lhala Sowa built all the red temples on the road. In addition, there seem to be many great disciples. He said: This matter of the eight worldly concerns pervades all sentient beings. Among them, being happy when happy is the most common. On this great earth, all the wriggling sentient beings wander around wanting happiness. Because the root of happiness lies in suffering. So don't like happiness, don't despair of suffering. If you pursue great happiness in this life, the next life will die along with it. If you do something like this, thinking that you will get happiness or joy, whether it is practice or worldly affairs, my life will be wasted. Thinking: I have fallen into the eight worldly concerns. For the ones below, think the same way. Spoke. If the happiness you want does not appear. If it appears, thinking I will be happy, then craving to meet arises. If you are sure about this, you will think: This time I will be happy, and then craving for great happiness arises. When it appears, you will think: If I don't separate from this.

The craving to be separated, although it is not present now, but there has been happiness and joy in the past, and at that time, feeling happy and joyful, savoring the taste of past desires, this is called past craving. If suffering and displeasure occur, one thinks it would be good if this did not exist, thus generating the craving to be separated. If it does not occur, one thinks it would be good if that did not occur, thus generating the craving not to encounter it. If something that is neither pleasant nor unpleasant occurs, one generates the craving for that not to disappear. Whatever happens, it is all dominated by craving and attachment. People of the eight worldly concerns are like this. So, how can these not happen? The Lord of Reason says: Sandalwood is like camphor, it is called detachment. Just as being smeared with sandalwood with great respect from one side does not make one happy, and being cut with an ax from the other side does not make one unhappy. Similarly, for all the likes and dislikes of this life, if they happen, one can equally treat the eight worldly concerns. Like us beginners, although we cannot be unartificial from the depths of our hearts, it is important to adjust with consciousness and get used to abandoning the discriminating thoughts of liking and disliking. For the sake of Dharma, seeking and enjoying desires, and when not successful, etc., do not have happiness or unhappiness, enjoy them like recognizing the faults, etc. As said above and below, constantly think about the faults, generate strong renunciation, and strive to eliminate them as much as possible. For those that cannot be eliminated, think that for the sake of Dharma, one has no choice but to rely on this, and the Buddha has also permitted it, that one must enjoy for the benefit of sentient beings, constantly remember, and hold it with Bodhicitta, etc., and there will be no fault in doing so. Gyer Chenpo, Gyer Chenpo's name was known as Youth. He mainly relied on Ne'u Zurpa and attained boundless teachings and realizations. He manifested countless miracles, magical powers, and yidams. He established Rinchen Gang, built Rigne Temple, gathered eight hundred monks, and lived to the age of eighty-two. He had eight great disciples, namely the heart-son Dromgon, Gomshi Drak, and Lopa Janggon, Dritongba Geshe Ga, Dingsa Powa, and Re Ja Zug three, and Re cultivated disciples in Yarlung.
