All actions and activities should be abandoned. The Excellent One said: Many beneficial things are obstacles. If you want your own benefit, then focus on one thing. You can fully enjoy many learnings. If you know, then don't do it meaninglessly. To inspire higher intention: Attachment to it will increase. It is attached to and clings to various tastes. It will not change with a little evil. These faults are delighting in work. It is said. In the Sutra of Akashagarbha, it is also said: Abandoning family and all dependencies, being content with little desire, being simple in actions, being in a remote and solitary place, living like a wild animal. It is said. Eleventh, one should remember the faults of sensual pleasures. The arrival of these also depends on whether one understands the faults of sensual pleasures or not. The noble Asanga said: Sentient beings with forgetful minds, abide in what is spoken. Because they do not fully understand what is spoken, they will encounter death. If one fully understands what is spoken, how can others have it? What is spoken does not exist for them, nor is there thought for the speaker. This sutra is explained in the Basis of the Earth. Its meaning is: Bhikshus, Brahmins, and householders need to seek through verbal teachings and narrations. Because they need to enjoy, sensual pleasures are called what is spoken. Also, because children do not understand the faults of arbitrary desires, the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas speak of their faults, so they are also called what is spoken. Such spoken things or desires, although there are countless faults, sentient beings do not understand, because they enjoy desires and accumulate karma, thus they are born and die. The wise ones can well understand the faults of desires, thus abandoning relatives and whatever amount of enjoyment, they renounce and practice, striving to attain Nirvana. Others will say: You have abandoned the desires of this life that your relatives do not like, and are striving for the desires of the next life? Even if they say so, there is no fault. There is also no need to think whether there is such a fault, because neither the desires of this life nor the next are pursued. Here is the cutting off of attachment to name and form.

Therefore, having abandoned arrogance and being without attachment, like smoke dissipating and being indestructible, and without any expectations, such a noble one is not seen in the worlds of gods and humans. The meaning of this is that when one clearly sees that the five aggregates, which are the objects of clinging, are suffering, he will cut off craving from the depths of his heart. When he further develops into an Arhat, even the latent tendencies of craving will disappear. Smoke represents craving, which precedes the fire of the three poisons, harms the eye of wisdom, and prevents one from calming down due to wrong thoughts, thus causing it to constantly waver. When such craving is abandoned, or when a noble one lives by begging, even if he is quickly given beautiful things and many things, he has no attachment to the benefactor and the gains, so he is not disturbed by desire. Even if the situation is reversed, he does not feel frustrated or angry, so he is not destroyed by hatred. He sees the faults of the gains, so he enjoys them in mindfulness, so he is not destroyed by ignorance. These benefactors do not expect or demand that he give them anything they want, because he is constantly aware day and night that the factors of death are very numerous, and he abides in the awareness of death, thinking that he will die soon. Such an Arhat will not be reborn, so he is not seen in the worlds of gods and humans. Therefore, it is very important to understand the faults of desires, which are described very much in the sutras and treatises, and I have already explained them in detail in works such as "Good Sayings". Next, the twelfth topic is about the teachings on abandoning the eight worldly dharmas. In general, it is very important not to be defiled by the eight worldly dharmas. Kyura Jigten Gonpo (1143-1217) of Drikung, whose name was Rinchen Pal, according to Panchen Shakya Shri, was considered an incarnation of Nagarjuna, was a direct disciple of Phagmo Drupa, and possessed infinite神通 and miracles. Many accomplished ones such as Gyalwa Lhanangpa or Gyeré came from Drikung. Drikung Monastery was established, and there were about eighteen large monasteries. He once said: When death comes, nothing helps, worldly activities are false. The eight worldly dharmas are like the patterns of a rainbow, see if you trust it! The Lord of Reasoning once said: For the sake of the eight worldly dharmas
