Do it! You have no fields, no agricultural trade. Tell me what kind of wealth produces these? You have no wife, sons, and daughters, nor gatherings of family and relatives. You have no male or female servants, and no power. Said. Tsangpa Gyare also said: To be born from the land of afflictions, not abandoning one's homeland is to be heartless; to practice with antidotes, not relying on antidotes is to be heartless; to unravel with Dharma teachings, not aligning with circumstances is to be heartless; abandoning the homeland of birth, even if carried away by the wind, there is no regret; throw the rope of abandonment towards the Lama, even if starving to death, there is no regret; cut the dry rope in the water, even if saying the time of relying on the Lama is short, there is no regret; throw the homeland of birth behind you, the interdependence of antidotes is sufficient; if the fruits of worldly happiness are seen as abundant, the interdependence of faith will accompany; abandon the world, the interdependence of generosity is sufficient; if the homeland of birth is not abandoned, attachment and aversion will not cease, so abandon the homeland of birth! If worldly affairs are not relinquished, the opportunity for virtuous deeds will not arise, so relinquish affairs! If wealth is not entrusted to the wind, close relationships cannot be severed, so entrust wealth to the wind! Said. Gyaltsen Rinpoche said: Attachment to relatives flows like water, hatred towards enemies burns like fire, the darkness of ignorance that forgets what to take and leave, abandoning one's homeland is the practice of a Bodhisattva. Said. Master Redawa's name was Youthful Wisdom. He was omniscient, attained the Samadhi of the Generation and Completion stages, and was a great disciple of translators Jangtse and others. His students included Master Tsongkhapa and others, known as the Seven Omniscients. Said. Wherever one dwells, if the aspect of appearance increases, and one's own mindstream is bound by the snare of fame and gain, while the mindstreams of others are tormented by jealousy and competition, do not dwell there even for a moment. Said. Ba Rawa said: In degenerate times, sentient beings have dull senses, neighbors suppress each other, and inflict harm on each other. There is no escaping Mongol taxes, and there are no shares. The leaders have no time to rest. In degenerate times, it is difficult to hold onto one's homeland. Generate weariness and go to solitary places. In one's own homeland, attachment and aversion arise.

Although understanding it this way, it is difficult to immediately find two people with suitable and harmonious circumstances. If there is ever a time for solitary retreat and practice, may the auspicious practitioner receive the blessings of the Guru. (Tsongkhapa) said: Severing the respect of one's own relatives, if one desires the respect of others, one must abandon attachment. Abandoning homeland, relatives, and enjoyments, if one is bound by the thought of pursuing fame, it is like escaping iron shackles only to be entangled by thin threads. As (Tsongkhapa) said, even if it is not one's homeland, if it increases one's own and others' afflictions, one must abandon it regardless of the place, and one needs to be a wandering mendicant without a fixed abode. Potowa said: Behavior should be like a beggar, and one should live one's life in this way. One should be content with little desire, and one's mind should not feel pain. Like the sun and moon, one should wander everywhere, not staying in one place, not occupying one dwelling. Friends and patrons should be kept at a distance, and one should not put pressure on anyone. (Potowa also said:) If one stays, one will leave buttock prints; if one wanders, one will only leave footprints. If a lama changes his mind, he needs to complete all the monastery affairs. If a wandering mendicant says that this thing and that thing are mixed together, they must be separated. Saying that this and that thing need to be loaded separately is not acceptable. Things that contradict the Dharma cannot coexist. If one accumulates sins, one needs to leave. If one loses the Dharma, even if one has not lost one's homeland, it is useless. Like the Samadhi King (Samadhi) of Moonlight (Bodhisattva). In short: For anything, there is no constant clinging; for anything, there is no complete attachment; living in this world like a rhinoceros horn, these people walk like the wind in the sky. (The Sutra) says: Begging for alms at noon is the best; after begging for alms, do not keep it for tomorrow; merely being satisfied with eating one's fill, such a person is a Bhikshu. (Tsongkhapa) said, if one is such a person, as soon as there is harm to the Dharma, one can immediately rise and leave. The wise, disciplined, young, and accomplished ones of the Kadampa established a Dharma center in Samding Sa. They mainly practiced the Six Dharmas of Naropa and the Six Dharmas of Niguma, and many outstanding figures who were both learned and accomplished appeared. (Geshe) said: Residing in one place for a long time is the cause of generating attachment and hatred; if there are many close people, it will increase partiality and clinging. If one stores too many things, the virtuous actions of body and speech will cease. Born in Yubdong. Is it inappropriate to wander in unfamiliar places? This is a question from the heart. (Geshe also) said: Going back and forth will have many regrets, staying
