Like the moon being suppressed by the sun. The reason for both of them is attachment to the realm of appearances. Sever the clinging in your hearts, all fortunate ones. Thus he spoke. Tsangpa Gyare said: A meditation that has no owner is like a rich man being carried away by the wind. A lion falls into the company of dogs. A precious jewel sinks into the mud. Therefore, one needs an owner of renunciation. Thus he spoke. If all attachment to this life is reversed, then it is enough to be content with turning to all other Dharmas. If this is not present, all experiences and realizations seem to come, but they quickly diminish. I have seen and heard this often, and it is also proven by reason. Drogön also said: If you do not cut off attachment to this life, then the experience of faith and samadhi, even if they seem like the previous life, will diminish in one moment. If this one arises, then it is stable. The Dharmas arise in the continuum, abide, and increase from above. All wisdom also comes as if emerging from the center of the sky. For example, like planting a seed in butter. This arising of wisdom is very strong. Thus he spoke. Some people have faith and want to practice Dharma from the heart. They have great renunciation and determination. It seems that they have already grasped it completely, but because a good samadhi has not arisen, they become discouraged and think: Even if people like me practice Dharma, it doesn't seem to be effective, so they give up. This is just like what Tsangpa Gyare said, a meditation that has no owner, a lion falling into the company of dogs. As explained many times before, if wisdom does not arise, then no happiness or virtue will come. If it arises, then the mind of renunciation, which obtains all happiness and virtue as desired, arises. When such a rare occurrence, praised by all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, which is difficult to arise in the continuum of all beings, occurs, practice joy. To stretch out and not strive is to not understand that one's own merit is shallow. Potowa said: Like chewing with gums even without teeth. Even if the mind does not listen to the Dharma, if someone says: No matter what happens to me, I will practice Dharma. That is the arising of wisdom and the practice of Dharma. Purify the mind from this life until death. On top of that, plant a seed, purify it, and always plant aspirations, which is as meaningful as obtaining the Mahamudra. That is, renunciation or a person in this life
