Entering into the midst of people and enjoying happiness, being valued by others, being materially wealthy and not needing to rely on others, not needing to work hard, not needing to beg, being able to fully enjoy tea, meat, butter and other delicacies. Claiming to be a practitioner or a scholar, hoping to receive praise from others, therefore striving for this oneself, and also teaching others in this way. If being like this is seen as being a man or being knowledgeable, then there is no need to mention not speaking about these profound teachings to other householders. Now, everyone enjoys teachings such as the channels and winds or emptiness, even if two or three friends gather together, they only talk about these, and it seems that many people desire to strive to practice these teachings. However, there are very few who truly enjoy abandoning the things of this life. If one preaches about abandoning the friends and relatives, fields and houses, wealth and possessions, and other perfections of this life, people will turn away immediately as if they had been struck on the head like a donkey, their noses hurting terribly, not wanting to listen at all, and not wanting to practice, that is how it is. This is not a joke. If someone wants to practice, then come here, we Khampas have no hypocrisy. The protector of beings ('gro mgon, Savior of Beings) Truelshik Rinpoche, is the nephew of Gyer Chenpo, it is said that he is an emanation of Avalokiteśvara, possessing boundless miraculous powers and wisdom. There are fourteen great disciples, among whom the two great nephews are Lonpo Tenpa and Lama Sangyeon. In Dakpo there are Bangrim and Sangmowa. In Lhodrak, in the east there is Umapa, in the west there is Gesheongwa, E Senggangwa, Gyal Nejungwa, Do there is Chewachenpa, Drab there is Zong Gonpa, Zhoktong Tenpa, Chang Ngampa, Jin there is Khenpo Lampa, Tsang there is Tsangton Nyima, Nyangto has two monasteries. Many of them established new monasteries, while some maintained the old monastic seats. From these people, the Dharma lineages and monasteries also developed extensively. Po's mouth also said: "Even the scholars, celibates, and meditators of this life, desire the learning and celibacy of this life. The hermits write letters on the door, not meeting people, and the meditators also desire the good reputation of this life. Even if they give alms, they only desire the fame and giving of this life. It is like sprinkling flour in water, even towards the Three Jewels."

It is an offering! Even if done, people cannot see it! This thinking of what should not be thought, hinders whatever is done, whatever virtuous deeds are done are lost year after year, all are taken away by the Rakshasa's cavalry. Therefore, for the delusions of this life, everyone must tie a knot. If a spear is not thrust into it, then all scholars, monks, teachers, practitioners, will not be able to block the gates of the three lower realms. Those who cannot avoid the suffering of falling into the lower realms, what is the use of scholars, monks, practitioners? Losing the essence, spending one's whole life in the monastery. Not abandoning this life when old, thus becoming attached to the residence and monastery. Creating sins such as sectarian conflicts, and then leaving the residence and monastery behind, while oneself goes into the fire of hell, because not thinking that all beings are impermanent, and accepting all this. In short, if death and impermanence, have not arisen in my mindstream, then the secret assembly will not be profound. When death arises in the mindstream, the vow of refuge in the Three Jewels will be profound. Striving for high Dharma, but falling into the abyss, poor person! At that time, even simple instructions, will become inverted inside and out. Said. The Lamas said: There are four points for abandoning life, the three vajras, leaving the crowd, pursuing the dog pack, and obtaining the heavenly crowd, these three are necessary. First are the four points: Put the mind on the Dharma, put the Dharma on the beggar, put the beggar on death, put death on the empty tomb. The three vajras are: The fearless vajra is released first, the shameless vajra is placed on the ground, the wisdom vajra accompanies oneself. The latter three are: Leaving the crowd, pursuing the dog pack, obtaining the heavenly crowd. How did these World Honored Ones become monks? How did they practice asceticism for six years? How did they ordain later followers, etc.? If understood, then the above points are very profound, and will be understood from the core of the Dharma. These ten are called the "Ten Root Jewels." Just keeping these in mind, can destroy the delusions of the world, dry up the ocean of attachment, overthrow the mountain of the eight worldly concerns, destroy the fortress of afflictions, Destroy the ship of bad karma. Learning comfort on the plain of antidotes, the essence of the Ten Root Jewels will appear, and will be explained in detail in the following content, from which one can realize. Therefore, the Dharma of abandoning life
