It should be completed and studied, as the great scholar Shantideva said: Those who wish to protect the precepts should diligently protect their minds. It is also said: Those who wish to protect their minds should guard mindfulness and awareness, even at the cost of their lives. I advise you thus. Therefore, one should diligently study the precepts with mindfulness and awareness. Fifth, offering gratitude: Having obtained the perfect Bodhisattva vows, it is due to the kindness of the Guru and the Three Jewels. Therefore, for the sake of gratitude, it is appropriate to serve with prostrations and offerings. First, please make prostrations touching the five points and recite: "As many as..." etc., four verses once. Then, arrange new offerings in front, and after the Guru has blessed them as before, then make offerings, offering the actual arranged offerings, as well as the offerings of the body, and in addition, offering with infinite clouds of offerings, these three, remembering the visualizations as described before, offer them in sequence. Thus inform, and recite: Om Guru Sarva Tathagata Argham (藏文:ཨོཾ་གུ་རུ་སརྦ་ཏ་ཐཱ་ག་ཏ་ཨཱརྒྷཾ།,梵文天城体:ओँ गुरु सर्व तथागत अर्घम्,梵文罗马拟音:oṃ guru sarva tathāgata argham,汉语字面意思:嗡,上师,一切,如来,供品) etc., either reciting the mantra alone or alternating with verses, arrange as appropriate. Offer the body with one verse such as "To the Buddhas and their sons..." Offer the visualized offerings with one verse such as "Excellent flowers..." Thus, let them make offerings. These offerings, in general, are offering prostrations and offerings to the Guru and the Three Jewels, especially remembering the kindness of the Guru, generating respect, please make three prostrations. Having made three prostrations, with reverence and worship, let them say: Thank you for your kindness. The third common meaning is, determining the nature: Whether it is the cause of generating the aspiring and engaging mind, as well as its own nature, as well as its various distinctions, as well as the benefits of producing temporary and ultimate results, the former are the Sutras of the extremely vast Mahayana, as well as the Ornament of the Sutras of the Bodhisattva Maitreya, as well as the Bodhisattva Bhumi of the Arya Asanga, as well as the Vinaya of the great scholar Chandragomin.
