Recite this section with complete attention. I beseech all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas residing in the ten directions to heed me. I beseech the Guru to heed me. Likewise, I take refuge in the Dharma and the Sangha of Bodhisattvas. Having gone for refuge in this way three times. Regarding the teachings therein, from now on, regard the Buddhas as teachers, the Mahayana Dharma as the path, and the noble Bodhisattvas as companions on the path, generate such a thought.
