Taking to the Path: Resting in the non-conceptual Dharmakaya, purify the thought of death; Rising in the unceasing Sambhogakaya, purify the thought of birth; Blessing with the four empowerments as nectar, enjoy food and drink; Holding with various methods, place them on the path; Nurture warmth, merge birth, manifestation, passing away, and Bardo. Showing how to clear the four obstacles of that path: Correcting sinking and excitement, the three experiences, place them on the path; Identify and remedy the root, cause, condition, and result of illness; Rest in the uncontrived state, severing permanence, annihilation, birth, and cessation; Abandon harmful foods and sexual activity, forsaking dependence; Sever the demons of white, red, and black Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: seed syllable) scattered above and below; Sever the fear of no other than oneself, and the leakage of semen; Eliminate the four defilements of broken vows, bad companions, dwelling places, and food. The culmination of that path, the manifest result: The five bodies, five speeches, five minds, qualities, and activities; With support, without support, essence, and benefit for others; Abiding in one and different, without duality; Examine whether views are accomplished or not, true or false. The near path to attaining Buddhahood in this life; The definitive Dharma that reveals its own characteristics; The tradition of the chariot possessing both skillful means and wisdom; The supreme Mahayana that turns defeat into victory.
