·Byung Zhap also quoted it. As above, after that, visualize yourself as a blue three-faced vajra, and by doing the vajra posture, there will be unobstructed dependent arising, and it will become the supreme ultimate protection wheel. Secondly, the characteristics of the Secret Heart Drop are that the seven mind trainings serve as the foundation of the path. In the copper book it says: Alas, alas! Sons of noble families, listen! For those whose wisdom does not manifest, whose faculties are dull, and whose fortune is meager, some may not believe in these. In order for these people to see wisdom, they should study these. In the absence of obstacles, abandon all internal and external affairs, abandon the collapse of meditation, and first train the mind. As it is said extensively, there are seven here: impermanence, temporary and lasting happiness, many causes and conditions, actions without meaning, the qualities of the Buddha, the guru's instructions, and training the mind by relying on non-discrimination. First, train the mind by contemplating impermanence: outwardly, there are changes in seasons and times, and the passing of days and nights in an instant is also impermanent; inwardly, the body composed of the four elements changes rapidly, like a collection of water bubbles, quickly decaying and without essence, which is also impermanent; secretly, the death of parents and relatives is also impermanent; such a situation will also happen to oneself, when will it happen? There is no certainty of not dying even today or tomorrow, thinking, 'Will I die tonight? Will I die tomorrow morning?' Think from the heart without forgetting for even a moment. When seeing other sentient beings, also think, 'These have not escaped death either.' Meditate on when one will die. Therefore, all compounded things are of the nature of impermanence. Seeing examples of impermanence and becoming discouraged is the standard of accomplishment. By meditating in this way, there is a need to turn the mind away from samsara. To clarify this, outwardly there are changes in days, nights, and seasons, and inwardly there are the body, secret relatives, etc. All compounded things are impermanent, quickly decaying, without essence, like water bubbles. These should be recited and meditated upon. Second, train the mind by contemplating temporary happiness and lasting happiness: non-virtuous actions lead to lower realms and all kinds of suffering.

Arise! Virtue generates all realms of heaven and bliss. The nature of samsara, with its ups and downs, is like water flowing in a bamboo pipe, changing and impermanent, which is truly amazing. The only noble method to avoid entering samsara is liberation, bodhi, and nothing else is trustworthy, which is truly wonderful. If one enters the path of liberation, one immediately obtains the happiness of heaven and good qualities, like the bodhisattvas. In the long run, one achieves unsurpassed bodhi, like the Buddhas. Therefore, I should aspire to accomplish the complete happiness, both temporary and ultimate. Therefore, if one has not entered the path of liberation, non-virtue leads to lower realms; even if one is born in heaven through virtue, one will eventually return to lower realms. Thinking that everything one does ultimately becomes a cause of suffering, this heartfelt feeling should become a habit. Therefore, we must turn away from the suffering of samsara and generate strong renunciation in our minds. To clarify this: The fruits of good and evil cause beings to wander in the six realms; the pleasures of existence are like poisoned food; appearing pleasant, they ultimately lead to suffering; the only true refuge is the supreme path of liberation. Third, cultivate the mind by contemplating various conditions: In samsara, there is nothing to trust or rely on. Giving help leads to harm in return; eating and drinking becomes the cause of illness and death; accumulating possessions fulfills the desires of enemies and thieves; relatives and friends, hoped to be helpful, become harmful enemies; even without causing harm, one is subjected to meaningless slander and accusation; whatever one does, one cannot please others, and there is no end to it, which is truly amazing. If one deeply contemplates the thoughts and actions of sentient beings, no matter how one helps, some will be pleased, and some will not. No matter how one thinks, one cannot benefit everyone completely. Everything one does has the nature of suffering, and the internal conditions and causes of death are countless, none of which truly bring benefit. Therefore, there is nothing to rely on without deception except the lama and the Three Jewels, so one should act with devotion and offerings, because this is the cause of happiness in this life and the next. One should completely turn one's mind to virtue, whether it is good or bad conditions that have occurred in the past or are happening now.
