Please make appropriate prayers. Ultimately, all of that dissolves into one's own heart. Inseparably blend with the indestructible great purity, the essence of the three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion, the self-aware luminosity, and remain in that state, reciting the Dzogchen six-syllable mantra as much as possible from the beginning. Then, according to any posture and way of looking, symbolically represent the appearance of phenomena. Oh! Just as it is taught in other sutra and tantra teachings, in the Tathagatagarbha and the Root Tantras, and meditated upon in the manner of mental engagement. Here, the wisdom of the ground state, possessing the three wisdoms of intrinsic purity. The three qualities of essence, nature, and compassion, empty-clear, without extremes, unobstructed, are profound instructions that transcend the realm of words and mind. For fortunate, highly qualified individuals, the method of directly introducing them is taught through the three statements: Go to a solitary place and keep your body in this posture. The object is the cloudless sky. Look at awareness in this way! That is its meaning. By practicing in this way, the outer space of the sky, like a mirror, opens the door to appearances. The inner space of pure light, called the lamp, is like the face of the owner. Initially, it gradually spreads from the light of the vast expanse of dark blue, appearing as brilliant as the rainbow in the sky or the colors of a peacock's tail. From the burning of the lamp, five colors of clear light also appear. This becomes very clear. That is how it is. In the center of that, the lamp of the empty thigle, like throwing a stone into a pool of water or like a bubble's circle, is initially just a blur. Then, a red, round, clear, and transparent light appears. Within that, the awareness vajra chain, like the mind of the owner, appears. Subtle like a knot in a horse's tail, or like a necklace of gold threads and pearls, or like a wire mesh, or like a bouquet of flowers, or like a flower net remaining in its own place, initially appearing as a vague, unclear, moving mass. Therefore, guide it by the way of looking, place it within the realm of space, focus on it greatly, and without being corrupted by thoughts of "is" or "is not," just let the awareness of the viewer look at the nature of awareness itself, and by meditating without wavering, it will become more and more stable and clear. As it says in the Thödgal: One's own awareness vajra chain, without going or coming, is in the sky.
