It is said that one should restrain the mind and diligently practice. Alternatively, the sitting posture and viewing manner of the Dharmakaya in the morning, the Sambhogakaya at noon, and the Nirmanakaya in the afternoon should be emphasized. Moreover, it is said that after mastering the three basic sitting postures, one should also learn the seven branch sitting postures, namely: tiger, vomit, garuda, human, fox, vulture, giant, and six, crocodile posture are the seven key body positions. Furthermore, one should also master the root and branches of the sitting postures and viewing manners mentioned in the profound Dharma-nature Wheel, and understand them when appropriate. In short, it would be even better if one could combine the sitting postures and viewing manners of the three bodies. For beginners, it is best to focus only on the lion posture of the Dharmakaya. In addition, in the "Lamp of Essential Instructions for Drop Practice," it says: Among the three sitting postures, the sage's lotus posture is mainly adopted, and among the three viewing manners, look slightly downward. The others are only learned as aids. It is said that because this method is now easy to practice, most people are doing it. Relying on these key points, when practicing direct perception wisdom, in order to stabilize the unstable mind, etc., there are six practice key points that need to be understood in the Dharma-nature Wheel. In short, what was just said contains all the meaning. Here, what needs to be understood is what is said in the "Lamp of Essential Instructions for Practice": When practicing, if you cannot see the bindu from the white expanse, look straight ahead with both eyes equally. If you cannot see the Dharmadhatu, look sideways from the side of the sun, and gently guiding the gaze is the key. Then, if there is more white, rotate to the right; if there is more yellow, rotate upwards; if there is more green, rotate to the left; if there is more red, lower downwards; if there is more blue, gather towards the center; if the five colors are evenly clear, then it is key not to change from whatever viewing manner you are using. At this time, one should also learn from the sun, which is the support of the Dharmakaya. At a distance of one cubit below the sun, or to the left, slightly turn the eyeballs and look at the sky. When you see the Vajra Chain (རྡོ་རྗེ་ལུ་གུ་རྒྱུད།,dorje lugu gyü,vajra chain) with bindus in the center of the five-colored light of the Dharmadhatu, use the viewing manner of the Sambhogakaya, lengthen the distance sideways from the sun, or look up and down, or straight at each other, or the Nirmana

With the posture of the body, do not let the mind wander downwards. Do not move the eyes. Do not speak with the mouth. By remaining in an unmoving posture, the appearances of the five lights of the expanse, the rainbow-like rays, and the bindus increase upwards. At night, practicing with the support of the Sambhogakaya, the moon, is similar to this method. The special point is to keep the eyes fixed on the center of the moon without any mental wandering, so that the appearances increase. During the day, when the heat of the eyes increases and becomes slightly unclear, balance it with coolness to make it clearer, which is very profound. Practicing with the support of the Nirmanakaya, the lamp, is also similar to this. The key is to lead the mind from the center of the lamp to other places for meditation. Also, during the day, practicing with the sun and a magnifying glass causes the light to increase upwards, and the illusions of the daytime cease, thus grasping the self-nature of Nirvana. At night, practicing with the moon, i.e., a spotless crystal and a bright lamp, causes the appearance of fivefold light, so that the illusions of the night, the part of samsara, are purified into the two Kayas, having the necessity of primordial liberation. Furthermore, in the early morning, mostly face east until the white light appears. Then, lead the appearance to the south and rest for a moment, then lead it further to the west, focusing on the place where the appearances of the five lights gather. When leading outwards horizontally to the west, visualize it as brocade patterns, and then lead it to the north for practice. If it disappears after leading it only a little, and it is impossible to lead it further, then practice for a long time without touching the support, gradually lengthening the distance of the lead. Observing the rainbow-like rays residing within the light is of utmost importance. It is said that this method of expanding east and south mainly relies on the "khra khang" (flower room). Second, introducing the meaning of directly integrating the appearances into one's own key point: Separated from circumstances, the sky is empty; separated from the senses, like a lamp in distant water; separated from location, in a clear, high, and secluded place. Focus the mind on the objects of the senses, do not modify it with hope and fear, relax naturally, and the Lama instructs: In the space in front of each person, visualize a tent of bindus and five-colored lights, with rainbow halos, residing in a fivefold array. In the center, visualize the Lama Samantabhadra in union, the essence of Vairochana. In the bindus of the four directions, visualize the four Buddha families in union, clearly appearing, and pray with intense devotion. This is the practice of Phurba.
