During all times of arising thoughts, by gazing directly at the self-knowing, self-illuminating, and naturally abiding awareness, the meditation of self-abiding without grasping will arise. Guard it with effortless mindfulness like a flowing river. Through these, all phenomena that appear and are experienced are introduced as being beyond acceptance and rejection, hope and doubt, and clinging to characteristics. Alternatively, instead of these subsequent introductions, like the key instructions of Trekchö, the original state, one can establish two ways of introduction: the nature of mind abiding in itself and the awareness without arising or ceasing. Moreover, when a fortunate individual practices the meaning on their mindstream, and the lama gives the introduction, then the additions and subtractions regarding the meaning of the profound reality are cut off. By guarding it without interruption, stability will be quickly attained. For those who have not generated experiential understanding in meditation and have only reached the level of intellectual understanding, even if the introduction is given, it will be like a bird flying away. Therefore, one needs to exert effort again and meditate until experience arises in each stage of meditation. As the stages of experiential realization arise, giving the introduction will gradually lead to grasping the essence of experience. Fourth, the instruction on the fruition without abandonment or attainment: Here, the nature of the fruition is rig-stong (རིག་སྟོང་,विद्याशून्यता,vidyāśūnyatā,明空), the Dharmakaya, because it is primordially liberated, so have faith that there is no need to liberate it again now. Because it is self-liberated, there is no need to rely on other antidotes at all. Because it is spontaneously liberated, there is no need to change it from the state of liberation itself, and one should be confident in this. In the state of maintaining the original state, rig-stong (རིག་སྟོང་,विद्याशून्यता,明空) without a trace, having decided that it is the primordial Great Perfection, one should let go of fabrication and hope and doubt, and abide in a natural state. In a state of ease, liberation in the nature of reality, the present awareness is fully recognized as the great natural state. By relaxing without effort, striving, or fabrication, the Dharmakaya is realized as the great natural state, which is the fruition of the original, spontaneously accomplished Great Perfection. In short, having decided that one's own mind is the Buddha, self-knowing awareness is free from hope, doubt, and fabrication. Relaxing into the Great Perfection of the original liberation, where the knowing that is free from doing, acting, and striving is maintained in its original state, is the reality of the Great Perfection of Suchness. One should train in the yoga of the effortless, continuous stream. Here, although the earlier oral tradition only generally explained conduct and fruition, but view and meditation

Since the two have become uncommon key points, here, the two practices and results are also combined with the certainty of the most secret key point, which is the guarantee document of Trekchö, and the cloud clusters arising from the non-conceptual sky. With these, the essential instructions for settling the mind, the actual teaching sequence of Trekchö Prosi Kunzhi, have been explained. Secondly, the essential instructions for settling awareness, the teaching of the Tögal path, has four parts: the preliminary practice of training the key points of body, speech, and mind; relying on the five key points to establish manifest reality in one's own place; showing how the four visions arise through practice; and explaining the essential instructions for the final support. The first has two parts: distinguishing between samsara and nirvana, and releasing the activities of the three doors into ninefold freedom. The first is: initially, to prevent obstacles from arising in the practice, one should perform protection. If successful, arrange a tsok offering and offer the tsok like a wish-fulfilling jewel ocean. Offer a golden mandala to the lama, and to represent that the disciples' awareness is without obscuration, they should be naked or only remove their upper garments. The lama should face east and stand in front, with the disciples lined up and standing, palms joined at their hearts, eyes fixed on the lama's heart. For the sake of preventing obstacles from arising in the manifest practice, and for the sake of preventing the eight consciousnesses from scattering into objects, have them visualize the lama as a wrathful figure with a dark blue body, hair standing on end, bared fangs, and a lolling tongue. The lama rests his left hand on his hip, and with his right hand makes the threatening gesture, first starting from the east and pointing in all directions, dispelling obstacles with his gaze. From the lama's heart, a blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽) radiates to the crown of the disciples' heads through the net-like channels. Have them visualize their bodies transforming into a dark blue Hūṃ (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 吽), and all the teachers and disciples recite Hūṃ Diri Diri. By spreading this, first clarify the letters in the lama's respective places, and then visualize them radiating and dissolving into the disciples' places. On the left sole, there is a green Yaṃ (Tibetan: ཡཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: यं, Sanskrit Romanization: yaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 扬); at the navel, there is a reddish-green Raṃ (Tibetan: རཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: रं, Sanskrit Romanization: raṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 让); at the throat, there is a smoky-black Khaṃ (Tibetan: ཁཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: खं, Sanskrit Romanization: khaṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 康); at the forehead, there is a blue Ai (Tibetan: ཨེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ऐ, Sanskrit Romanization: ai, Literal Chinese meaning: 埃); at the armpit, there is a yellow Suṃ (Tibetan: སུཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: सुं, Sanskrit Romanization: suṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: 松); on the right knee, there is a white Ha (Tibetan: ཧ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ह, Sanskrit Romanization: ha, Literal Chinese meaning: 哈); on the right sole, there is a dark blue Phaṭ (Tibetan: ཕཊ, Sanskrit Devanagari: फट्, Sanskrit Romanization: phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: 啪特). Thus, elaborate each of the eight letters individually, and also verbally recite each letter twenty-one times with each breath to perform protection. In the Karma Nyingtik tradition, here, the protection
