Da. To blend the state of being beyond all objects and subjects of meditation into the view of the exhaustion of phenomena and original purity. As it is said in the Secret Sound Tantra: "Without prior or subsequent memory or thought, the awareness is clear, bright, and vivid. In this very present awareness, recognize the four kayas complete." At that time, the mind abiding in freedom from elaboration is the Dharmakaya; clear bliss without grasping is the Sambhogakaya; the unceasing arising of various appearances is the Nirmanakaya. The three—essence, nature, and compassion—are inseparable, as it is said in the Jeweled Garland: "Perfect Buddha is self-awareness itself. Essence does not change in the three times. Nature is always unceasing. Compassion is self-appearing to all." Thus it is said. Here, the uncommon practice is that, for example, with regard to three objects like a pillar, or three times—past, future, and present—whatever three objects, at one time, on one instant, not just a general overview, but even with subtle details, focusing the mind at the same time, there is a special way of arising. Based on that, the lama's introduction is the separation of three-fourths, as it is said: "Separate from the four symbols and the main body." This is the meaning. Second, having established the unceasing manifestation of potential, the introduction to self-liberation without abandonment or adoption in the midst of movement is as follows: From the state of mind itself—blissful, clear, and non-conceptual—the unceasing manifestation of potential, whatever arises as thoughts, awareness, radiation, and absorption, the outer appearances are unceasing. On top of not being bound by the antidote of inner grasping and attachment, without any modification or adulteration by prior or subsequent welcoming or sending, or by abandonment, adoption, rejection, or affirmation, the naked awareness is wide open and bare. Maintaining the natural radiance of that very clear awareness, just as waves arise in the ocean but do not go beyond the nature of the ocean water, so whatever thoughts arise are not abandoned or transformed, and do not go beyond or change from the play of dharmata. Moreover, although outer appearances radiate in various ways, the mind is not moved by appearances, remaining without calculating attachment, like a magical person. Although inner appearances manifest in various ways, there is no clinging, and like the awareness of a young child, there is no identification of what this is, so all thoughts of arising and feeling dissolve into self-pacification and self-purification like salt dissolving in water. Therefore, whatever appears is said to be self-liberated.

It is so. In the Transcendence it is said: "How the arising of awareness is, like a snake knot, naturally freed. Because there is no antidote, there is no need for effort. The essence of being is primordially liberated." Because it is said like that. Third, after determining that abiding, moving, and essence are inseparable, in union, whatever arises, directly introduce awareness, which is: In the state where the nature of the three doors abides freely, no matter how many thoughts arise from the uninterrupted manifestation of power, without acceptance or rejection, without taking or abandoning, abide in your own state, abiding unshakably in the state of Dharma. Because the self-power of abiding is liberated without interruption. Thus, the nature of abiding and scattering is non-dual and inseparable. That is to say, with the key point that abiding, moving, and essence are not dependent establishments, without falling to any side of the appearances of the six consciousnesses, nakedly abide in awareness. All thoughts, large and small, arise and disappear spontaneously, like hailstones melting into water, or like mist dissipating in the sky, know that they do not go beyond the play of Dharma, nor do they waver. As it is also said in the Wonderful: "Like the waves of the ocean, all the movements of the waves of the mind, dissolve into the original ground of the ocean." As it is said. Like this, when the mind abides, it abides in the original state. When scattered, the play of wisdom arises. When equal, it extends into the non-dual state, no matter how it arises, it does not go beyond the state radiance of Dharma. Do not cultivate equality, do not prevent scattering, do not awaken abiding. No matter how it arises, it does not go beyond the power of one's own awareness. That is, as it is said in the scripture: "The stainless pure Buddha, the self-aware Dharmakaya does not change. Sal le sang nge wal le wa, like the cloudless autumn sky. Abide like a mountain, unmoving. Abide like an ocean, clear and unmoving. Abide like the sky, free from wide and narrow. No matter how you abide, be in the state of awareness. Scattering and abiding, self-awareness, clear and distinct. Just as birds fly in the sky, they do not leave the sky, likewise the state of awareness. All phenomena are self-luminous, without wavering." As it is said, without fabrication, naturally relax, therefore a peace without acceptance or rejection, without taking or abandoning, without hope or fear will arise, know that this is the meditation of awareness abiding in itself. Once you recognize this, the knowledge of abiding, moving, acceptance, rejection, good thoughts
