From the navel chakra, red light radiates, dissolving into one's own throat, obtaining the secret empowerment, purifying the defilements of speech, empowering one to meditate on the channels and winds, making one fortunate to attain the Sambhogakaya. From the Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum) at the heart, blue light radiates, dissolving into one's own heart, obtaining the wisdom-jnana empowerment, purifying the defilements of mind, empowering one to meditate on bindus, making one fortunate to attain the Dharmakaya. Again, from the three places, white, red, and blue lights radiate, dissolving into one's own three places, obtaining the fourth empowerment, purifying the defilements of jnana, empowering one to meditate on Dzogchen, making one fortunate to attain the Svabhavikakaya. Again, I pray to the glorious and holy Lama, the embodiment of all Buddhas of the three times, the master of the four kayas. Please grant me empowerment and blessings. Please bless me to generate special realizations of the profound path in my continuum. Please bless me to realize the view of the primordial purity's natural state. Please bless me to perfect the wisdom of the spontaneously arisen four visions. Having prayed with devotion and intense longing, the Lama, transformed into a mass of five-colored light, dissolves subtly from one's own Brahma aperture. Thinking that one's own three doors and the Lama's three vajras are inseparable, one rests in equanimity in the innate nature of primordial awareness beyond thought. Secondly, the specific practice of the Guru Yoga, taking the ocean of accomplishments as the path: Om (Tibetan: ༀ, Sanskrit Devanagari: ॐ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Om) Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: आः, Sanskrit Romanization: āḥ, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah) Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hum). Protecting from the fears of the lower realms, I take refuge in the Three Jewels. Having generated the mind of enlightenment in definitive meaning, I meditate on the Lama for the benefit of beings. In the state where all phenomena are unborn by nature, above one's own head, within a white lotus and a combined sun and moon seat, from the white Ah (Tibetan: ཨ, Sanskrit Devanagari: अ, Sanskrit Romanization: a, Literal Chinese meaning: Ah), light radiates, inviting the root Lama, who abides in the half-lotus posture. At the end, all the lineage Lamas and those with Dharma connections dissolve into him. Finally, visualize the assembly of deities of the Yidam mandala, dakinis, and oath-bound protectors surrounding him like dense clouds. From the palace of the Sambhogakaya, I request the clear and pure Lama to descend. From the palace of the Nirmanakaya, I request those with compassion to descend. In rainbows and light, kili li! Body and bindu, shig se shig! Upon the seat of the sun and moon on my crown, Inseparably from me, remain steadfast. Body, speech, and mind, I prostrate with reverence, Outer, inner, and secret, I offer the offerings, I confess the breakages and impairments of body, speech, and mind, I request the empowerments and instructions for maturation and liberation. Om(ༀ，oṃ，Body without birth, clear and pure), I pray to the Vajra Body, Bless the body with bliss. Ah(ཨཱཿ，āḥ，Speech unceasing, the sound of Dharma), I pray to Ali Kali(梵文天城体：आलिकाली，ālikālī), Bless the speech with power. Hung(ཧཱུྃ，hūṃ，Mind, primordial purity, the expanse of Kunsang), I pray to the Unthinking, Bless to exhaust the realms of samsara. Thus, recite as it appears in the Great Practice of Dharma. Then, The Lama Vajradhara, Is the sole friend in the three realms of samsara, The refuge for beings without protectors, The great staircase to liberation, The lamp that dispels ignorance, I seek refuge in the lord of the armies of darkness. In the muddy ocean of samsara, Protect me, who am drowning and helpless. When scorched by the fire of the three poisons, Please cool me with the self-arisen moisture. All the substantial body, speech, and mind, Bound by the delusion of ignorance, May they all, in the self-liberated nature of light, Attain complete nirvana without remainder. The Lama is the precious Buddha, I have no other hope, Look upon me with eyes of compassion, I pray to be delivered from the ocean of samsara. May all good things be accomplished in this life, And may there be no obstacles or hindrances, At the time of death, may I seize the profound clear light, I pray to be delivered from the dangerous straits of the bardo. Whatever is done by body, speech, and mind, May it always benefit others, May all circumstances be transformed into the supreme path of enlightenment, May they be transformed from this very day. Though I strive, liberation is difficult, Lord, please accomplish it with your compassion. May I, without a protector, and all beings, Go to the island of liberation. Whoever has faith in me, Even those who slander and revile me, May they purify their sins and be without afflictions, May they abandon the river of existence.
