Even when separated from me, there is something that appears like conceptual thought. That is the Dharmakaya itself. Those of the Great Perfection Mind Series, without conceptual thought, clearly know everything. What is called "action" refers to this. Nowadays, if great meditators hear even a little bit of this, they feel like their hearts are about to break. The great Siddha Mitrajoki said, "If whatever appears is left in its own state, effortless accomplishment is spontaneously achieved." Thus, by the self-liberation of clinging conceptual thoughts, the external objects of grasping, such as forms and sounds, also naturally tend towards self-liberation. In the field of the eye, there are good and bad forms; in the field of the ear, there are pleasant and unpleasant sounds; in the nose, there are fragrant and unpleasant smells; on the tongue, there are delicious and sweet tastes; in the body, there are soft and rough sensations; in the mind, there are happiness and suffering; there are attachment and hatred; there are enemies and friends; earth, water, fire, wind, and so on. In short, whatever arises and appears, leave it without fabrication or alteration. As it is said in the Great Perfection, "When the five sense consciousnesses are clear, and the mind's clinging thoughts do not enter, that itself is the intention of the Victorious Ones." The Pacification School says, "When the flaw of understanding thought is recognized, the more conceptual thought arises, the greater the abiding; the coarser the afflictions, the clearer the wisdom." Therefore, the view of the Great Perfection is that whatever arises, neither abandon it nor follow it, but leave it as it is without any alteration. Because of this, there is nothing to be abandoned, no antidote, and no Dharma created by conceptual thought, such as negation, affirmation, acceptance, or rejection. Therefore, the Dharmakaya beyond conceptual thought is suchness itself. These are spoken to those with superior faculties. For the superior, intermediate, and inferior faculties, guide them by combining their respective wisdom and abilities. Now, guide the three intermediate faculties through the union of Shamatha and Vipassana. As it is said in the Kunzang Gongdu, "If you do not abide in Shamatha, you will not see Vipassana; if you do not clearly see Vipassana, you will not abide in Shamatha." Therefore, it is necessary to make the two arise simultaneously. For example, "From where does the egg without a bird come? From where does the bird without an egg come? Which came first, the bird or the egg?" Because there is no before or after, it is necessary to be simultaneous. In response to this, Gyalwa Yang Gonpa sang in his song, "The sound of what is called 'Great Perfection Dharma' is so great! The way of understanding like a beggar also arises from it. The realization of a single moment also arises from it." His own realization also arose from the Great Perfection.
