Napo la. Keep the inconceivable awareness without distraction. From that, there is not even a particle to meditate upon. Through lifetimes, I was born as a king. Taking this doha, I shattered my pride. In the past, I generated the supreme bodhicitta. Again, I took the remnants of the mind and dharma merging. To destroy the illusory aggregates now, the light of Samantabhadra's heart shines upon me. gHi Ta Ma Ko La Sa A HoH (Tibetan) () () (Literal meaning in Chinese) Thus, the vajra song was sung. Furthermore, the second empowerment related to the cuckoo of awareness has nine aspects. First, the empowerment of the power of awareness through the oral instruction of recognizing wisdom is like placing a turtle in its shell. Second, if one receives this empowerment, what certainty is gained? One gains the certainty of realizing that the self-arisen Buddha of awareness and sentient beings are one, like a wheel-turning king opening the eyes of a blind person. Third, the practice of transforming that certainty into the path is to not seek any artificial practice, just as a king occupies his throne. Fourth, the activity of carrying it in the individual's continuum is that all eighteen empowerments are the same. Fifth, the method of empowering the power of awareness through the oral instruction of recognizing the five wisdoms is to arrange the body in the seven postures of Vairochana, exhale and hold the gentle breath. The minds of the lama and disciples are in the precious palace, and the A in the center of the lotus melts into light like a flame. That light, like an arrow shaft, white and slender, strikes the A in the center of the lotus of the mandala, and that also melts into light like a flame. Again, a white and slender light radiates from that and strikes the A of the vase above, and that also melts into light like a flame. Again, a white and slender light radiates from that and strikes the A in the center of the lotus of the disciple's heart, and that A becomes extremely white and naturally luminous. The light of the A in the center, both front and back, shines on each other, and the light becomes extremely bright. The inside of the heart is filled with light, and one is instructed to meditate like a lamp inside a vase. The lama takes the vase above the A residing in the center of the lotus and bestows the empowerment, and recites auspicious verses, and performs bathing and so on as in the previous empowerment. The subsequent experience is that the disciples, as they have previously meditated, in their hearts

Filled with clear light, focus awareness on it, and abide in a way that is without abiding. The sixth example of empowerment is like placing a tortoise in the base of a castle, which signifies that the body is free from movement as a sign that the mind has been controlled by the power of obtaining the empowerment of awareness through the oral instruction of recognizing wisdom. The seventh, introducing with a tube, is: insert a tube into the student's ear and say these words: From the oral instruction called "Destroying the Source of the Vase," say only the last sentence three times: "Do not seek wisdom, leave it aside!" The eighth is the explanation of the meaning of the oral instruction: Since all phenomena are clear as wisdom, recognize all as wisdom, and without seeking it, abide through the three experiences. It itself is like a tortoise placed in the base of a castle, abiding without moving. The meaning of "leave it aside" is to leave sinking and excitement uncorrected. Then, what is the difference between it and error? That is because it is error due to not understanding, while the yogi understands the presence and absence of sinking and excitement equally. Therefore, all phenomena arise in the mandala of wisdom. Furthermore, Śrī Siṃha said, "Various wisdoms, naturally clear, abide unmoving in suchness." This is clear. The ninth is the intention of the vidyādhara, inspiring with a song of experience: The intention of the awareness cuckoo, the meditation of the song of awareness emptiness, in the grove of Chandana Gorśīśa, in the upper part of the night, to the eldest son Rājahasti, he said this: Hūṃ! (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुँ, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hūṃ!) The ground is primordially uncreated, suchness is the dharmadhātu. (Tibetan: ཀུན་གཞི་ཡེ་ནས་མ་བཅོས་དེ་བཞིན་ཆོས་ཀྱི་དབྱིངས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Self-arisen wisdom is like space, abiding in great equanimity. (Tibetan: རང་བྱུང་ཡེ་ཤེས་མཁའ་འདྲ་མཉམ་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་ངང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Beyond the sound of words and letters is Samantabhadra. (Tibetan: ཚིག་དང་ཡི་གེའི་སྒྲ་ལས་འདས་པའི་ཀུན་ཏུ་བཟང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) If mind and dharmatā are equal and without separation, (Tibetan: སེམས་དང་ཆོས་ཉིད་མཉམ་ཞིང་དབྱེར་མེད་ན།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Then how can the signs of body, speech, and mind be defiled? (Tibetan: ལུས་ངག་ཡིད་གསུམ་མཚན་མ་ཅིས་བསླད་ཀྱང་།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Dharmatā bodhicitta is unchanging. (Tibetan: ཆོས་ཉིད་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་ལ་འགྱུར་མེད་དེ།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Abandoning the fault of conceptual thought, the ground is bodhicitta. (Tibetan: རྣམ་རྟོག་སྐྱོན་སྤངས་ཀུན་གཞི་བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) By abiding in the uncreated state, (Tibetan: མ་བཅོས་ངང་དུ་བཞག་པ་ལས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Meditation is not separate and is exhausted. (Tibetan: སྒོམ་པ་གུད་ན་མེད་པར་འཁུམས།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) In order to destroy the illusory aggregates now, (Tibetan: སྒྱུ་མའི་ཕུང་པོ་ད་ལྟ་བསྙིལ་བའི་ཕྱིར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) The rays of light of Samantabhadra's mind shine on me. (Tibetan: ཀུན་བཟང་ཐུགས་ཀྱི་འོད་ཟེར་ང་ལ་ཤར།, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Ghītiṃ kola sama āhoḥ! (Tibetan: གྷི་ཏིམ་ཀོ་ལ་ས་མ་ཨ་ཧོཿ, Sanskrit Devanagari: , Sanskrit Romanization: , Literal Chinese meaning: ) Thus he sang the vajra song. Connected with the vast sky. The third empowerment is the bestowal of nine empowerments, the first empowerment is the bestowal of the empowerment of awareness power through the oral instruction of the general pouring of awareness, like the sun rising on the surface of a mirror. The second is the bestowal of
