Even if it is possible to enter into just a little bit of virtuous wisdom, it is very difficult to perfect even a small amount of cultural knowledge due to two reasons. Therefore, the fact that one cannot cross to the other shore of a theoretical system like an ocean is proven by the power of facts. In order to let one's own wisdom serve the field of knowledge, and to benefit those who are similar to oneself and are foolish, like treating them as precious jewels. Although the essence is extracted from all the doors of the vehicles and the meaning of the words is condensed to a minimum, if it is well understood, the insight of wisdom will pervade all knowledge without hindrance. The third point is: Some people who are proficient in reciting some great treatises by heart, surpass general knowledge with confused minds. Those who labor on the path of subtle cultural knowledge have dull eyes of wisdom for viewing the vast scriptures. Although I do not fully understand these, may this combination made with an altruistic mind, relying on much hearing and the words of the holy ones, illuminate the stainless Buddha's teachings for a long time! Nowadays, those who are proficient in reciting by heart the root texts and commentaries of some great treatises of inner knowledge, such as the widely known Madhyamaka, Vinaya, and Treasury, despise the field of common knowledge, lead the Buddha's intention into a path of self-assertion, speculate on the profound secrets of the tantras, and measure and cut off general knowledge with confused minds. Those who take upon themselves the labor of studying on the path of subtle cultural knowledge such as grammar, astrology, medicine, etc., have dull eyes of wisdom for truly seeing the vast and profound scriptures containing sutras, tantras, and their commentaries. Therefore, time and wisdom are wasted, and meeting the precious Buddha's teachings becomes devoid of meaningful results. Not to mention that I can fully understand the common and uncommon cultural knowledge and its branches. Even studying and becoming accustomed to a part of it has not reached a state of certainty. However, in the degenerate age, those who appear as Vajradhara himself in the form of spiritual friends, especially those spiritual friends who represent the one father of the Buddhas, Manjushri, and other learned and accomplished masters, through the kindness of these masters, the theories, key instructions, and cultural knowledge of the new and old sutras and tantras, along with their branches,

Through extensive learning, the great treatises of the holy land of India, the ten great pillars supporting the tradition of explanation and practice in the snowy land, the eight great chariots of the practice lineage and their followers, especially the omniscient Rangjung Dorje and the eighth Karmapa father and son, the Dharma King Longchen Rabjampa and the Minling Kun family, Jamyang Sakya uncle and nephew, Jowo Nangje Jetsun Chenpo, the omniscient Chokyi Jungne of the time of strife, etc., relying on the scriptures well spoken by many holy beings who have become reliable, with the intention of slightly benefiting other fortunate ones as well, may whatever white and increasing virtue arises from this application illuminate the stainless teachings of the Buddha Shakyamuni for a long time. Thus it is said. Fourth, may all beings be happy and the Dharma increase through this, may they be pure in discipline, listen, contemplate, and meditate, may they train their minds, complete the realization of the grounds and paths, and may they attain the state of the three bodies all at once. With pure intention and diligent practice, wishing to follow the good deeds of the holy ones, by the power of the small virtuous deeds done, may all beings in the boundless realms where the Dharma abides have happiness of body and mind, attain higher realms temporarily, and ultimately perfect the excellent path, and based on this, may the precious Buddha Dharma, the essence of scripture and realization, flourish, increase, and remain for a long time, may all who enter the Dharma be pure without being stained by the faults of breaking vows, may they train their minds with the three wisdoms of listening, contemplation, and meditation, may they complete the realization of the ten grounds and five paths, and may all sentient beings pervading space quickly attain the state of the three bodies of the Victorious One, complete with the five wisdoms. Thus it is said. This verse also well summarizes the meaning of the beginning and end of this treatise. Fifth, I pray that those who have the Dharma eye of the three roots that do not contradict or confuse, will be tolerant and accept, and give pure and supreme blessings, may this treatise shine like the sun and moon as long as the Buddha's teachings remain, and grant auspiciousness. Thus it is said, my mind is ignorant and foolish.
