From that image, the emanation adorned with excellent marks and signs, appearing as forms such as mountains and trees, and bestowing benefit and happiness upon sentient beings, those images of form are the Body Vajra Nirmanakaya; from the twelve branches of scripture, appearing as all forms of sound images of knowledge, is the Speech Vajra Sambhogakaya; the immutable bliss and the form of emptiness-union, is the Mind Vajra Dharmakaya. Furthermore, it is said that the Three Jewels of Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha are also the Three Kayas, and they are included within the category of the Three Vajras. The fourth is: adding the Sahajakaya makes four. That is, adding the Sahajakaya, which is the Svabhavikakaya, or the Mahasukha Kaya, to the Three Kayas makes four. As previously stated: "Svabhavikakaya, along with Sambhogakaya and Nirmanakaya, and likewise Dharmakaya along with activity, these four aspects are truly taught." This is also one of the two ways of establishing it from the perspective of the Kalachakra. From the perspective of the bliss of the ultimate wisdom body itself being the object-possessor and emptiness being the object, it is the Svabhavikakaya; from the perspective of bliss being the object and emptiness itself being the object-possessor, it is the Dharmakaya; from the perspective of the sound image of emptiness itself, it is the Sambhogakaya; and from the images of various forms, it is the Nirmanakaya. This is one explanation. Such four Kayas are all Svabhavikakaya, and for the Bodhisattvas abiding on the Bhumis, the body that appears as an image and is as immovable as space is the Dharmakaya, which Acharya Buddhasamgupta also calls the body of manifest enlightenment. The Rupakaya resides in Akanishta, the body that even the Shravakas born purely cannot experience is the Sambhogakaya, and appearing as residing in Tushita and so forth, the body that appears to each ordinary being in accordance with their respective faculties is established as the Nirmanakaya, which is the view of the earlier Tibetans. Furthermore, emptiness is the Svabhavikakaya, bliss is the Dharmakaya or Mahasukha Kaya, the self-manifest speech of the Buddha is the Sambhogakaya, and the body is established as the Nirmanakaya, these are the Four Vajra Kayas, or the self-manifest body is the Sambhogakaya, and great compassion is the Nirmanakaya, this is also how it is established.

It is. The fifth is, the five bodies of the five families. That is, the five families such as Akshobhya, and the five bodies divided by the differences of the five wisdoms, etc. As mentioned before: Possessing the nature of the five Buddha bodies, is the master of the all-pervading five wisdoms, possessing the crest of the five Buddha lords, proclaiming the five eyes without attachment. And, their characteristics are: The aggregate of form is infinite, is the supreme of my emanation body. The aggregate of sound is infinite, is the supreme of my enjoyment body. The aggregate of Dharma is infinite, is the well-spoken of my Dharma body. The aggregate of wisdom is infinite, is the well-spoken of my wisdom body. The aggregate of bliss is infinite, is the unchanging supreme of my bliss body. As it is said. The sixth is, adding the all-pervading becomes six. That is, adding the all-pervading Vajrasattva great bliss body to the former, it becomes six bodies. As it is said in the Kalachakra: The six elements are free from obscurations and become six families. Thus, the wisdom element is Vajrasattva, the consciousness element is Akshobhya, the wind element is Amoghasiddhi, the fire element is Ratnasambhava, the water element is Amitabha, and the earth element is the family of Vairochana. If combined with the general Mother Tantras such as Chakrasamvara, the naturally luminous mind transcends consciousness and becomes the transformation of the basis of all. All phenomena of elaboration are of its nature, yet it itself is not defiled by elaboration, this is Akshobhya glorious Heruka. All dharmas are emptiness that is unborn from the beginning. The difference between Buddhas and sentient beings, etc., of samsara and nirvana, although not separated from equality, is free from all fabrications, spontaneously accomplished, and enjoys whatever one desires. In accordance with the capacity of sentient beings, without exceeding the time, benefiting beings without obstruction, this is Amoghasiddhi, that is, quickly entering into the work of benefiting others, so it is called the horse king or the king of horses. Liberated from permanence and annihilation, contemplating equality, not shaken by perversion, this is Ratnasambhava, that is, Vajra Sun or King of Glory. The wind does not change, is equal to space, has no birth, the wisdom that is free from all names and words, for all sentient beings, in all realms, at all times, with all languages, transforms for the sake of taming whatever needs to be tamed, that itself is.
