If many people gather, it is named "Love and Joy Assembly," which is a name taken from the yoga of the deities; during consecration and fire offerings, it is named "Food Offering," which is a name taken from the occasion; when making masks corresponding to the number of deities and performing subjugation, etc., if done, it is named "Dance of the Buddha," which is a name taken from necessity; if only offering to the worldly and transworldly dakinis, it becomes offering to the lineage mother or a maiden feast, which is a name taken from the place of offering, so say the Tibetan scholars. Regarding the time of assembly, the difference in time is: In the seventh chapter of the "First Examination," it says, "The fourteenth of the ghost month, similarly, also the eighth." And in the second section of the ninth chapter of the "Samputa," it says, "The fourteenth of the waning moon, especially the eighth, the tenth of the waxing moon, the offering becomes the nature of offering." Those mentioned should be done only at night. For those with detailed rituals, it is practiced continuously for one month or three years and three months, etc. The common order of actions for all assemblies is to draw a mandala, and from the five vows, it says, "Without the guru's instruction, do not make gestures. Without prayer, do not open the door. Without performing burnt offerings, do not enter. Without offering the offering substances, do not speak. Without offering flowers to the guru, do not sit on the cushion. Without the instruction of the action hero and action heroine, do not sit in the row." Do as it says and meditate on the mandala wheel. With alcohol and nectar preceding, engage in offering and universal enjoyment. If it is related to the empowerment of a great master who accomplishes siddhis, then during the time of enjoyment, give the Vajra Master empowerment to a qualified person. The detailed practice of this method should be understood from old Tibetan and Chinese documents. Uncommon actions are as described above, and at the end of those, various actions that do not depend on substances, mantras, etc., and flying in the sky, etc., whatever is gathered there can be accomplished, which is necessary. Second, the non-elaborate feast: Relying on whatever appropriate non-elaborate parts. There are also practices for dispatching and employing male and female yakshas. The non-elaborate feast is relying on whatever appropriate parts from before, equal to the number of deities.
