Because one does not rely on a lama, the appearance of the deity's form arises, and because one enjoys desirable things, discursive thoughts are small, hence it is called non-distraction. The nature of emptiness without discrimination and bliss also arise greatly without effort. At the time of union, without moving from the manifestation of bliss and emptiness, all that appears spontaneously arises as a pure wheel, and one enjoys desirable things. Therefore, there is no manifest discursive thought in this, so it is called the practice of meditation that is extremely free from distraction. Appearance, emptiness, and bliss arise in a way that pervades the sky. From the perspective of action, these all have the three types of distraction and so on. Third, is the classification of gathering practices. As it is said in the Buddhasamayogatantra: "Every day or every month, likewise every year, after blessing with the proper method, one should perform the dance of the Buddha Supreme Bliss." Thus it is said. Daily, that is, constant practice is with distraction. Practicing once a month is without distraction. Practicing once a year is extremely without distraction. Therefore, meditation with distraction and so on all have actions and so on, the three types of meditation are classified by the three types of action into nine types. There are six types of action with and without distraction, and at the time of gathering practice, there are three types of time with distraction and so on, totaling eighteen types. There are three types of extreme non-distraction, totaling twenty-one types, these abide in one place, or wander in large cities, totaling forty-two types. Apart from the fourteen types of meditation with distraction, each of the other types is divided into three types: Kuntara, Kunzang, and Phaklay Namgyal, therefore there are one hundred and eight types of practice, this is the oral transmission of Guru Lho-phyok-pa, the "Drops from the Ocean of Secret Meanings" of Jetsun Taranatha. These are the common practices of mantra practitioners, mainly based on the Anuttarayoga Mother Tantra. Fourth, there are four: the nature of the practice, the time, the necessity, and how to practice. First, the general nature is the stability of samadhi, enhancing the special actions of the three doors. The nature of the practice to be explained is: the special practice of body, speech, and mind that enhances the samadhi of the two stages that has been well stabilized. The meaning of special is also that, as desired, one enjoys desirable things as one pleases, thereby making the previous wisdom of bliss and emptiness well stabilized, more and more.

It is the practice that increases. The second has two aspects: common and special. First, the common one: The time is when the desire deities actually grant it through the generation stage. Near harm does not disturb, the causes of Samadhi do not waver. The eight dharmas are equal, and desire qualities arise as helpers. The heat of the small completion stage is also that. The middle cuts off, the great follows, the view is accomplished, and so on, possessing immeasurable abilities. The general time for practice is when heat is obtained. That is, to accomplish siddhi through the generation stage, it is necessary to please the desire deities and actually receive their grant. Inner and outer near harms do not disturb, no cause can shake the Samadhi, the eight dharmas manifest equally, and the general and special aspects of the object appearance, the increase of Samadhi of desire qualities, become helpers. At this time, heat is obtained, and the meaning of heat is also that the precursor of the arising of siddhi like fire is like heat. In the Hevajra and Sambhuta Tantras, it is also said: A little heat is obtained. And so on. The Root Tantra of Chakrasamvara says: How to warm up the action, realize through diligent effort. It is said. The heat of the completion stage has three sizes: small, medium, and large. The small one is the one mentioned above, but the difference is that it is necessary to rely on the completion stage itself to obtain those. The medium is the accomplishment of the four views of cutting off, and the great is the accomplishment of the view of following, up to the point of possessing immeasurable abilities. Second, the special one: The special one is that the common is obtained by the power of wisdom, and in the fourth yoga of the completion stage, for the purpose of the vidyadhara, the time to obtain the heat body, for the union of learners and non-learners, the time to determine the five is two. The time for special practice is: Whether or not the completion stage is practiced, the coarse generation stage is completed, that is, abiding in the yoga of the freedom of wisdom, it is the time to accomplish the eight great siddhis and other common great siddhis; when the realization of the completion stage is slightly stable and reaches the fourth yoga, the practice is done for the purpose of accomplishing the vidyadhara of desire form, the time to accomplish the common siddhi through the generation stage and the completion stage is two.
