It occurs in all situations, so it is with fabrication. In this case, only learning to see the deity and knowing it as the deity occurs, so it is called a single stage of learning and a single stage of knowledge. Even if it is not primarily examined by conceptual thought, it is without fabrication to have the sensory field appear as the deity's form and to engage in desirable qualities. This is the stage of the completion phase before the arising of the conceptual thought of appearance. By learning and knowing that the deity's form and that too are merely appearances of the mind, there are two stages of learning and knowledge. Since the self-appearance of bliss and emptiness appears as the deity's form, it is extremely without fabrication to engage in the state of the deity and bliss being without inherent nature by relying on the desirable qualities of the sensory field. The deity, mind, and illusion are three, that is, three stages of learning and knowledge. This is present in various ways from the arising of the conceptual thought of appearance up to the attainment of the path of seeing. Since one learns in this way by relying on desirable qualities, it is called 'relying on learning.' All three of these can be practiced alternately or simultaneously. Do these three learnings and engaging in desirable qualities occur simultaneously or not? When the deity is clearly manifest, one does not experience the bliss of engaging in desirable qualities as it is. When one experiences that, the deity is not clear. Therefore, practicing these two alternately in each moment is alternate practice. When one is accustomed to that, entering simultaneously is simultaneous practice, that is, relying on learning with fabrication. The second is: Meditate on desirable qualities as Vajra Mother, generate mental bliss. During the breaks between sessions, take sensory objects as the path, the cause of vidyadharas. During the session, from the aggregation of all three, high, low, and medium, of the sense bases of form, sound, smell, taste, and touch of the world realm, meditate until one finds the sign of seeing the form of the individual goddesses such as the form Vajra Mother, who are beautiful, complete with desirable qualities, and possess art. Having found the sign, generate great bliss from that and generate special mental bliss. By making the senses and their supports firm, it becomes the cause of the lineage of wisdom. During the breaks between sessions, when any external desirable qualities and senses are encountered, actually enjoy and rely on them by meditating on the senses as deities and the objects as goddesses, etc. Before that, it becomes the cause of being able to practice the conduct of a vidyadhara. Since it is the conduct of mantra, it is gathered here and practiced in accordance with the same direction.

Now, it will be explained from the Condensed Lamp Treatise. Secondly, concerning the conduct of Vidyadhara, there are seven aspects: determining the essence; indicating the agent of conduct; detailed differentiation of the internal divisions; explaining the order of conduct; special mention of the conduct of gatherings; incidental narration of additional meanings; and indicating the manner of combining fierce activities. The first aspect is: attire and mudras, songs, dances, and games, etc., extensive and slight, relying solely on samadhi, are successively the essence of having elaboration, etc. Entering into the attire of deities, the number of mudras is definitely equal to the deities, the elaboration of games such as songs, dances, and expressions of body and speech is very vast, those that are uncertain are slightly present, abandoning external elaboration and relying solely on samadhi, these are successively having elaboration, etc., from the category of "etc." including the three essences of non-elaboration and extremely non-elaboration, this is explained from the Compendium of Conduct. The second aspect is: joy, age, wisdom, resources, and the magnitude of desire are the distinctions of the agent of conduct. The magnitude of the joy of beings towards elaboration, the difference in age, i.e., youth, the magnitude of resources, the magnitude of wisdom, and the three magnitudes of desire, those who are very joyful towards elaboration, whose age is young, whose resources are many, and whose desire is heavy are those with elaboration. Those who are moderate are without elaboration. The thought of elaboration, etc., is small, and the age is old, these are extremely without elaboration, this is established from the distinction of the agent of conduct. The third aspect is: moreover, in relation to activities, meditation, thought, and times, the dependent conduct becomes three times three, ninefold. The conduct of Vidyadhara, mainly based on the Mother Tantra, those three conducts are also divided into three types of conduct that depend on rituals or activities, three types of conduct that depend on meditation and thought, and three types of conduct that depend on time. The first is: those mentioned above. The second is: all the conduct during the stage of generation, because it is solely meditation and thought generated by conceptual thought, it is the conduct of meditation and thought with elaboration. Here, emptiness is also accompanied by conceptual thought, and bliss is also only momentary. From the attainment of the special bliss-emptiness of the stage of completion, meditating on bliss-emptiness in equipoise, thereby expanding all appearances, meditating solely through conceptual thought.
