In order to obtain great super-knowledge, possessing great power, the body of the door of samadhi and dharani is completely perfected, and one who definitely shows emanations such as residing in Tushita and is called a person who has received empowerment from all Buddhas. Fourth: Six cultivate the three trainings, and four accomplish the fruits. Having realized the nature of reality, one gradually purifies the five aggregates. In the first ground, one cultivates the cause of the three trainings being completely pure. In the second, one cultivates the training of morality. In the third, one cultivates the training of mind. In the fourth, fifth, and sixth, one cultivates the wisdom of the aspects of enlightenment, truth, and dependent origination, respectively. Therefore, the fruits of these are: in the seventh ground, the wisdom of no characteristics; in the eighth, the spontaneously accomplished wisdom; in the ninth, the maturation of sentient beings; and in the tenth, the accomplishment of the bases of samadhi and dharani. In the first ground, having directly realized the nature of reality, in the second, the aggregate of morality is purified; in the third, the aggregate of samadhi; in the fourth, fifth, and sixth, the aggregate of wisdom; and in the seventh and so on, the aggregates that are gradually purified from the obscurations of the four fruits are purified. In the Buddha ground, even the obscurations of knowledge that obstruct knowable objects are liberated, and the aggregates seen by the wisdom of liberation are purified. Fifth: Possessing three causes, virtue increases further. Gradually abandoning the obscurations of knowledge, one accomplishes the ten wisdoms. Offering to the Three Jewels for many eons, maturing sentient beings, and dedicating the roots of virtue to enlightenment—these three causes purify the roots of virtue from the first to the tenth ground. The differences in the degree of purity in each ground should be understood by analogy, as stated in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds. Also, the differences in abandonment and realization of those who abide in the grounds are: in the path of seeing, one abandons the one hundred and twelve to be abandoned by seeing, and in the path of meditation, one abandons those to be abandoned by meditation. However, when establishing the ten grounds, each of the ten individually abandons the obscurations of knowledge, which are included by ignorance, the unfavorable aspects of each, through the wisdom that realizes the sphere of reality. As stated in the Sutra of the Ten Grounds: "As soon as one obtains the ground, five fears immediately arise."

Free from. Cutting off livelihood and death, not begrudging evil destinies, etc., free from the fear of samsara, that has no appearance of timidity. Why? Because there is no place for self in that. As it is said, abandoning the five fears, etc. In the Uttaratantra it says: The noble ones have completely abandoned death and evil, and the suffering of old age. Born from the power of karma and afflictions. That is not in that, therefore that is not. As it is said, also abandoning the four rivers of suffering, etc., is liberation from inconceivable fears. Those also gradually increase from the first to the tenth bhumi, one should understand in meaning. Although liberated from the four sufferings, showing as if not liberated is intentionally being born into existence. In that it says: In order to see exactly and completely, although having transcended birth, etc., by the power of compassion, they show birth, death, sickness, and old age. As it is said. Realization is that all ten bhumis also realize the suchness of the ultimate truth of reality in equipoise, free from the extremes of elaboration, like the sky. In post-meditation, they realize the suchness of all phenomena, the conventional truth, appearing but without inherent existence, like an illusion. Thus, although there are no other newly seen different kinds of realization from the truth of reality seen for the first time on the path of seeing, when combined with the distinctions of the ten bhumis, there are ten distinctions of realization of definite understanding that cuts off superimposition, which are obtained after abandoning what is to be abandoned. That is, on the first bhumi, by the element of reality knowing that it pervades all knowable objects, therefore realizing the meaning of the all-pervading nature of reality. Similarly, on the second bhumi, seeing with the light of self-nature, therefore the nature of reality is the supreme meaning among all phenomena. The third bhumi is the meaning of the concordant cause for realizing the teachings. The fourth bhumi is the meaning of not completely grasping the self of me in anything. The fifth bhumi is the meaning that in the pure realm, there is no difference between the self and others' continuums. The sixth bhumi, because defilements are temporary, therefore it is universal contamination, because the self-nature is pure, therefore it is not the meaning of newly completely purified either. The seventh bhumi is the meaning that there is no difference in the characteristics of the teachings such as the sutras. The eighth bhumi, having obtained forbearance of the unborn dharma, therefore afflictions decrease, and there is no meaning of purification increasing.
