Secondly, regarding the basis: In the Sravaka vehicle's tenet, it is the same as the previously mentioned supramundane path; in the common Mahayana vehicle's tenet, the basis is a human body, especially a Bodhisattva born into a Brahmin or royal family in the central region of Jambudvipa, and it is believed to arise from a samadhi like a vajra of the fourth dhyana. In the uncommon Mahayana vehicle's tenet, the basis is a tenth-ground Bodhisattva, and it is believed to arise from the ultimate state of the fourth dhyana, which is extremely pure, with a co-operative condition like a vajra-like samadhi. Thirdly, regarding the object: In the common Mahayana vehicle's tenet, the object of the vajra-like samadhi is the four noble truths or the truth of cessation, or the ten non-learning dharmas. In the uncommon Mahayana vehicle's tenet, the object is non-abiding nirvana. Fifth: Abandoning all obstacles, realizing as it is and as many as it is. The difference between abandonment and realization of that path is: abandoning all obstacles to one's own liberation, and realizing as it is, the suchness, the dharmata, purified by all that is to be abandoned; realizing as many as it is. The Abhidharmakosa says: "Arhats, Pratyekabuddhas, and Buddhas, see two thousand, three thousand, and countless." Realizing as it is said. Sixth: Common and special qualities are inconceivable. Qualities, common ones are Arhat, exhaustion of outflows, exhaustion of afflictions, etc.; special ones are obtaining limitless qualities such as powers, fearlessness, unmixedness, and omniscience. Seventh: Completely manifesting all bodies and wisdoms. The activity is completely manifesting the three bodies and four wisdoms. Eighth: Uncontaminated virtue is the antidote to existence, the definitive word is reaching the end of the path and what is to be learned. Because it is separated from all outflows, it is uncontaminated virtue. Because it prevents the already abandoned afflictions from arising again, it is the antidote to existence. Because it travels to the ultimate place of abandoning what is to be abandoned and knowing what is to be known, it is called the ultimate path. Because it reaches the end of what is to be learned, it is also called the non-learning path. Then, why is it called a path? Because the vajra-like samadhi, even in the preceding and following moments, has what is to be abandoned and what can be abandoned, and what is to be attained and what can be attained, so it is ultimate.

It is called the "path." Regarding these, in the common view of the Lesser Vehicle, the Treasury of Knowledge says: "Nirvana, etc., from higher to higher, in order to obtain, one has power. All-knowing maker and all-knowing, likewise, all-knowing possessor of power." Therefore, the one who has power over the path of seeing, the power that makes the unknowing into all-knowing, is in the path of joining. The one who has power over the path of meditation, the all-knowing power, is in the path of seeing. The one who has power over the path of completion, the power that possesses all-knowing, is said to be in the path of meditation. In the uncommon view of the Great Vehicle, these powers are not given these names. Second, regarding the explanation of the classification of grounds, there are three points: Generally, the grounds are classified into two, explaining the differences between these two, and a detailed explanation of the ground of the Buddha. The first point has two parts: A brief explanation and a detailed explanation. The first is: Grounds are generally detachment and Buddha, two. As the basis for the accumulation of qualities of the noble ones, grounds are generally classified into two types: the ground of detachment from desire and the ground of the perfectly complete Buddha. These can also be called the ground of Hearers and Solitary Realizers, or the ground of the Lesser Vehicle and the ground of the Great Vehicle. The second point has two parts: the ground of detachment, the ground of the Buddha. The first is: Eight lineages, seeing, thinness, detachment, realization, Hearer, Solitary Realizer grounds. The so-called ground of detachment mainly refers to the eight grounds of the Lesser Vehicle, which cultivate the selflessness of persons and the four noble truths: Lineage, eighth, seeing, thinness, detachment, accomplished realization, Hearer, and Solitary Realizer grounds. Therefore, the so-called lord of the eight grounds is the one who has power over these. Here, the ground of white appearance is added first, and according to the explanation of the eight grounds that do not count Solitary Realizers as explained later, the first ground of white appearance is the accumulation path of the Hearers, because it is a virtue in accordance with the part of liberation. The single white is liberation, and focusing on it is virtue. The lineage ground is the great forbearance and supreme dharma of the path of joining. Below the heat and peak, it is possible to revert to the Great Vehicle, and below the intermediate forbearance, it is possible to revert to the Solitary Realizer. Having obtained above the great forbearance, it will not revert to another vehicle.
