It is like the path of going towards the goal. Approaching accomplishment means being close to accomplishment, similar to preparing to go on that path. Accomplishment refers to the beginning of engaging in the unique cause of obtaining the fruit, similar to entering that path and moving forward. Great accomplishment refers to the uninterrupted union with the fruit, similar to entering the gate of a city. The third is sixfold: withdrawal, contemplation, prāṇāyāma (生命之气,呼吸控制), retention, mindfulness, and the limbs of samādhi. First, explaining everything with the posture of observation and the key points of binding, cutting them off separately and withdrawing consciousness inward. Applying the wisdom faculties to the other five objects. By stopping the mandala of skillful means and wisdom, the ten signs are perfected. That is, in the King of Tantras, it says, "For approach, the first yoga is that with ten aspects, with the wrathful one having a wheel in the sky." Therefore, with the posture of observation of the Crown Wheel-Turning King, and the body possessing the key points of binding, all connections of the ordinary five senses and five objects are cut off separately, and the consciousness that goes to the objects is withdrawn inward. The nature of luminosity, applying the other five faculties of the nature of wisdom to the other five objects, that is, withdrawing separately, there is no thorough engagement of the ten objects and subjects in the body. The sequence of yoga, by stopping the mandala of skillful means and wisdom on the left and right in the central channel, the ten signs will be quickly perfected. The great accomplished Shavaripa said, "Immovability is possessing three, in dhūti ten winds are contained, outer and inner thoughts cease, ten signs arise, it is a limb of cutting off separately." Here, many previous masters, in the oral transmission of the Kalachakra, understood "everything should be known as six" to mean that all limbs are explained in six parts. That is, the meaning of each name, the timing of meditation, the limbs of the method of meditation, the degree of signs of meditation, the distinction between what is to be purified and what can purify, and the fruit obtained by meditation, these six. Among them, here, for withdrawal, first is the meaning of the word: प्रती (pratī, each), आहार (āhāra, withdrawing according to circumstances, abandoning, eating, cutting off, taking, etc.), here it is withdrawal, combined it is प्रत्याहार (pratyāhāra, withdrawal), the meaning is above

As explained. Secondly, regarding the initial practice of gradual absorption, when the breath has just moved from the left nostril to the right, that is, when the earth element is descending, if you meditate at that time, then the shifts to the right will all be the gradual absorption of the elements, and it will become a special auspicious connection for absorbing impure appearances into the sphere of reality. Furthermore, beginners should strive to meditate except during sleep. Thirdly, the essence is that it has the power to absorb the breath into the central channel with non-discrimination, immovability, and the possession of three qualities. The two yogas of day and night are: the formation, duration, destruction of the vessel; the birth, aging, sickness, and death of beings; proceeding through the year; turning in the month; day and night in the day; the shifting of elements has two, right and left. In the alternation of times and the shifting of breaths, there are also two, equal and unequal, etc. With the distinction of skillful means and wisdom, the two yogas of day and night are definitely necessary. Thus, in the Later Tantra it says: At night, the yoga of smoke and so on, and again during the day, the yoga of blazing and so on in the sky. In particular, the key point here is that the night yoga absorbs the five chakras of the right channel, and the day yoga absorbs the five of the left channel into the central channel, so the ten definite signs of day and night appear. This is with regard to the main ones. Fourth, the objects of concentration for individual absorption have ten signs. The tantra says: In emptiness, there are smoke, mirages, clear light, stainless sky appearance, and a lamp. These are the four signs of night yoga. Blazing, the moon, the sun, the vajra, the supreme part, and the bindu will also be seen. These are the six signs of day yoga. The ten signs are definite signs, and although they belong to any one of these ten, the indefinite signs are limitless, so it is called seeing various images. These are the wisdom of the ultimate nature of reality residing in oneself, and by practicing the path, it becomes manifest, which is the cause of generating faith, so it is called a sign. It is not merely a sign of conventional illusory appearances. Thus, the knowledge of seeing those signs is valid cognition, that is, प्रमाण (Tibetan: ཚད་མ།, Sanskrit: pramāṇa, Romanization: pramāṇa, Literal meaning: measure). The tantra says: Whatever is the object of the deity becomes twofold, direct perception and inference. Direct perception and
