Although the beginning and end cannot be fully grasped, it is said that all the instructions of Jetsun Milarepa can be summarized into two: the path of means related to the tantras and the oral transmission related to blessings. The root of all these is the two, Mahamudra and the Six Dharmas of Naropa. As for the extensive explanation of combining the profound secrets of these two with the intention of the sutras and tantras, it can only be understood from the writings of Gampopa Chenpo Omniscient One, etc. Fifth, explaining the meditation stages of the glorious Shangpa Kagyu, there are two parts: a general presentation of the stages of the path and a specific description of the practice of meditation. The first part is: the three stages of the Shangpa tradition of teaching, debating, and practicing. Later, there are the five dharmas of Niguma, Maitripa, Avadhutipa, and Rahula, and scattered instructions. The Shangpa Kagyu lineage, which comes from the teachings of the King of Adept Attainment, Kyungpo, possesses inconceivable systems of sutra and tantra teaching and practice, and extensively carries out the activities of teaching, studying, meditating, and practicing. These, if summarized, can be categorized into the three stages of teaching, debating, and practicing. The manner of these is as explained above. Among these, the latter stage of practice has the five dharmas of Niguma, Sukhasiddhi, Vajrasana, Maitripa, and Rahula, as well as scattered instructions. These are also mainly established in the manner of being compiled into sections, and are not the complete dharma classes that Kyungpo himself heard, because from the beginning it was not possible for them to appear completely in one lineage, let alone now. The second part is divided into two parts: a general presentation and a detailed explanation. The first part is: the main practice is the five golden dharmas of Niguma. The main point of the practice stage of the path is: the root is the six dharmas of Niguma, the trunk is Mahamudra, the branches are the three ways of transference, the flowers are the red and white dakinis, and the fruit is immortality and infallibility, which is known as the five golden dharmas. The second part is divided into six parts: the root five golden dharmas, and the accompanying explanation of the instructions of Sukha, etc. The first of these is divided into seven parts: preliminaries, tummo, illusory body, dream yoga, clear light, transference of consciousness, and bardo. The first part is: through the unique purification practices, practicing emptiness and rasayana,

Therefore, by bestowing the four empowerments as rituals, the individual whose continuum is ripened, possessing the common preliminary practices of faith, diligence, renunciation, and the mind of renunciation, purifies the continuum with the uncommon purifying Khyung. As for the meaning of purification, as stated in the fifteenth chapter of the extraordinary instructions of the Wisdom Dakini: "The defilements of one's own continuum diminish and disappear. This is the characteristic of Khyung." Thus, it is a special yoga that purifies all defilements such as sins, obscurations, and transgressions of one's own continuum. As stated in the Them Yig: "In the preliminary purification Khyung, three supplications have three objects of focus." Thus, with the three supplications as the preliminary, focus on the purifying Khyung. Khyung eliminates diseases and demonic obstacles. The three signs are the characteristics of Khyung, and placing the latter as the object of focus is applying the name of the cause to the result. This reasoning is also frequently seen in this system. After that, one should enter the actual profound path. As the Vajra verse says: "Ripened by the four empowerments, possessing faith and diligence, impermanence, renunciation, and faults as preliminaries, whoever strives diligently on this supreme path will attain enlightenment in six months or in this life." Thus it is said. Secondly, the root of Tummo, fierce and gentle, is used for eating food, wearing clothes, spreading a mat, and riding a horse. The root of this golden Dharma, the first of the six Dharmas, the characteristic of the path of means, bliss-heat self-arising, is: "Bliss-heat nature, emptiness-clarity arises. This is the characteristic of the path of means." Thus, with A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A) Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ, Devanagari: हूँ, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum) burning and dripping, generating bliss-heat in the Vajra body, it is a yoga that generates the special wisdom of emptiness-clarity. It also generates the four joys of ascending and descending with outflows and descending and stabilizing without outflows through the yoga of one's own body of means and the body of wisdom of others, and makes the co-emergent wisdom of bliss-emptiness stable. Among them, by subduing the wild channels and wild winds with the fierce practice of Tummo wild fire, thereby forcefully generating heat, this is the preliminary of Tummo itself. Combined with the vase breath possessing four combinations, with the gentle yoga of spring drops burning and dripping, eating it as the main food, wearing it as a branch of clothing, spreading it as a cushion, and riding it as a mount, all should be appropriate to whatever behavior.
