Further detailed explanation is divided into two parts: briefly explaining through names, and explaining in detail through definitions. The first part is: Generally speaking, among the three systems of Sutra, Tantra, and Essence. The second part is divided into three parts: the Sutra system, the Tantra system, and the Essence system. The first part is divided into four parts: briefly explaining the definition, and separately elaborating on the Mahamudra of the ground, path, and fruit. The first part is: The initial essence is Prajnaparamita, the name is Mahamudra, and the form is in accordance with Tantra. The first of these three traditional systems is the Sutra system, or later the Mahamudra that mixes Sutra and Tantra ideas. In the commentary on the "Ten Suchnesses" composed by Master Sahajavajra, it is clearly stated that the essence is Prajnaparamita, in accordance with Tantra, and the wisdom of realizing Suchness, which has the three characteristics of being named Mahamudra. The second part is the base Mahamudra, the reality of the nature of things, divided into three parts: reality, the aspect of delusion, and recognizing the original face of self-nature. The first part is: The reality of the base is impartial, free from the extremes of elaboration, has not experienced delusion and liberation, and pervades everything like space. The base, the reality of the nature of things, is not established as the essence of both samsara and nirvana, does not favor any side, and is free from all extremes of elaboration such as existence and non-existence, permanence and annihilation, and transcends the scope of speech, thought, and expression. From the beginning, it has not been bound by delusion, nor has it been liberated by realization. Due to the key that it is not established in any self-character, the Mahamudra pervades all dharmas of samsara and nirvana like space. In the Sutra and Tantra classics such as "Prajnaparamita," "Tathagatagarbha," "Primordial Buddha," and "Causal Tantra," it is explained with various names. The ultimate truth of inseparable profundity and clarity is the essence of the pure mind, the basis of purification, and is the reality of the knowable that has been and will be explained. The second part is: The aspect of delusion, appearing but not real. That is to say, the vajra of the naturally pure and luminous mind, due to its own nature being deluded by its own power, the disturbance of mind arising from the Alaya, causing awareness to cling to the self and self-appearing objects, that is, the difference between the object and the subject, under the influence of this dualistic appearance, accumulating various karmas and habits, thus causing delusion to wander endlessly in samsara like a stream.

Since the conventional truth of illusion is what is to be purified, and the mind is a sudden stain that does not abide in its nature, it appears but is not established as true. It can be liberated by the antidote of recognizing one's own nature. The third is, merely appearance. The three of arising, ceasing, and abiding are the play of the three kayas. All of samsara and nirvana arise from the play of the mind's appearances, and by the power of its naturally abiding in the union of clarity and emptiness. Merely appearance itself is also the great play of the three kayas, free from arising, ceasing, and abiding. That is, the nature of non-arising is the Dharmakaya, the radiance of non-ceasing is the Sambhogakaya, and the skill of appearing in various forms is the Nirmanakaya. All three are inherently and spontaneously accomplished as inseparable in essence. By recognizing one's own nature, all phenomena are free from affirmation and negation, acceptance and rejection, in the primordially suchness, the boundless expanse of the Dharmadhatu, which is the recognition of the view of the Great Seal of Suchness. Third, the path of the Great Seal, showing the way to traverse the grounds and paths through self-arising stillness and insight, has three aspects: showing the samadhi to be practiced, cutting off the dangers of error, and explaining how the four yogas arise in sequence. First: At the time of the path, mind itself is the coemergent Dharmakaya. Appearances are the light of the coemergent Dharmakaya. Unwavering, non-meditating, un fabricated, in the natural state. At the time of the path, establishing the view and practicing yoga is called the Great Seal of Meditation. That is, making the unarisen meditation arise is like practicing the preliminaries. Making the arisen into the path is the three recognitions. The way to enhance and increase qualities from there is what the great founders of this lineage have established. The first is: The common path of the Kagyü and the Great Seal, the four thoughts that turn the mind, and refuge, bodhicitta, accumulation, purification, and guru yoga, practicing until signs arise, thereby turning the mind towards the Dharma and making the Dharma into the path. The second is: From the coemergent, inconceivable tantra: Mind itself is the coemergent Dharmakaya, appearances are the light of the coemergent Dharmakaya, appearances and mind are inseparable and coemergent. As the vajra words of the accomplished masters explaining its meaning arise limitlessly. It is considered that it can be summarized into the recognition of the three coemergences. The first is the primordially coemergent mind itself.
