Yes, it is said. Maitreya also said: Now, in the bardo of samsara and nirvana, the great seal introduces the reality of the abode, and the fundamental view should also be determined. The meaning of what is said is that the way of seeing and meditating on it is: There is nothing to be abandoned in this, there is not the slightest thing to be established, see reality as it is in reality, and seeing reality as it is is liberation. As it is said. In the Ratnagotravibhāga: Having the nature of distinction, the realm is empty with temporary defilements. Having the nature of non-distinction, it is not empty with the supreme Dharma. As it is said, therefore, the self-nature of the mind is luminosity, and there is no defilement to be abandoned in this, because from the beginning, the self-nature is without defilement. There is not the slightest thing to be created and established that was not there before, because from the beginning, it is the nature of self-existing qualities. The reason for these is: From the essence, the nature that can be distinguished, the false, temporary defilements, with those the realm is empty, the nature that cannot be distinguished, the uncreated self-nature, the supreme Dharma, the qualities of the Buddha, the ten powers, etc., then the realm is not empty. For example, when jaundice makes a conch appear yellow, the yellow makes the conch appear empty, and the white makes it appear non-empty. Therefore, the desire to remove defilements and the desire to establish qualities are both obscured by the discriminating thoughts of hope and doubt, so abandon them, and in the true reality, the ordinary consciousness of the present, the inseparability of appearance and emptiness, this essence that is free from truth and falsehood, do not transform and confuse it with acceptance and rejection, but with the wisdom of one's own awareness, in that true
