It appears like that. Recognizing it and being able to abide in it, but if you don't cultivate it by placing it on the view of cutting off pre-existing attachments, you won't be able to realize the true nature. Therefore, if you can ascertain the view of emptiness in this life, you should strive to cultivate the son luminosity or path luminosity in conjunction with great bliss. Among them, most people consider the ground death luminosity to be the mother luminosity, and the practice of the path day and night luminosity to be the son luminosity. But according to the views of Jetsun Marpa and others, the true nature of all dharmas, the self-existent luminosity, is the mother luminosity, and the arising of clear samadhi at this time from the interdependent arising of the five pure elements is considered the son luminosity, because there is a relationship between the producer and the produced. In any case, if you can now get used to the four emptinesses when the life force is gathered in the central channel while awake, and if you can mix deep sleep with luminosity, then by the power of the winds, you can mix the mother and son luminosities at the time of death. If you can mix them, you will undoubtedly recognize the bardo that appears outside of it, so this is the supreme method for seizing the bardo. When the stages of dissolution are complete and the red and white bodhi are mixed, and the power of the channels, winds, bindus, mind, and all the pure elements are gathered in the central channel of the heart, the samadhi of emptiness, clarity, and great bliss arises. At that time, all obscurations are blown away by the wind of wisdom, burned by the heat of tummo, and the bindu of pure bodhicitta is consumed. For the yogi who practices the path luminosity, due to the power of past habituation, all the power of obscurations and delusions is taken away from the supreme central channel, and when Rahu Vajra of Wisdom devours all the manifest seeds of the object of grasping and the grasper, the sun and moon, by meditating at that time, relying on the luminosity of the state previously mentioned, whether it is bliss, clarity, or non-discrimination, whichever is mainly practiced, at that time it will be transformed into power by the power of the essence of the luminosity of realization, and in an instant it will destroy the two obscurations, And like a wealthy owner enjoying the complete two accumulations, one attains freedom. As the early Five Stages Oral Transmission masters explain, the realization of bliss is the Sambhogakaya, clarity is the Nirmanakaya, and non-discrimination is the Dharmakaya, which is the infallible manifestation of the interdependent arising of the Vajra body and mind. Here, although the wisdom of realization is inseparable from the three kayas, it is mainly death.

Now, it is said so because the clear Dharma body has been attained. Secondly, the clear light of the first bardo appears to all sentient beings with the six elements (earth, water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness) at the time of death. However, due to lack of familiarity with the key points of the instructions, it is not recognized, and even if it is recognized, it cannot be maintained. Therefore, the collection of the five pure elements separates and vanishes, and the consciousness, along with the mount of the life-force wind, emerges from any of the nine apertures. As soon as it separates from the body and consciousness, it suddenly arises as the mental body of the bardo, which is the actual basis of the existence bardo. Its characteristics are as mentioned above. At that time, most sentient beings experience four terrifying sounds, three frightening precipices, and so on. The hallucinations and fears arising from the imprints of sinful thoughts are beyond description, causing great distress. However, for those who have accumulated merit, these distorted appearances do not arise. Instead, they are greeted by deities, honored with offerings, and experience pure visions, progressing from happiness to happiness. To use this as a path, it is necessary to recognize the bardo. Therefore, it should be recognized through the six definite signs, such as having the power of karma. Whatever good or bad appearances arise, one should rest in the virtuous practices that one is familiar with, such as the discipline of the Hearers, the Bodhicitta of the Mahayana, the generation stage of the Mantrayana, and the view of the Yogis. Simply remembering these will protect one from fear, and the harms will be self-liberated. Therefore, without losing awareness of the hallucinations even for a moment, one should maintain awareness and grasp one's own mind, so that consciousness becomes strong and one gains control over the wind. At that time, even if fleeting hallucinations arise, they can be transformed into the path. To develop such practice, familiarity is very important. Therefore, from now on, think of this as the bardo period and combine it with virtuous practices. In particular, when experiences such as fear and sorrow arise, consider them as hallucinations of the bardo and rest in their true nature, or diligently meditate on them as unreal and illusory. Occasionally, check whether the six definite signs of the bardo are present or not, and so on. From now on, make efforts to train in the bardo. Mastering the bardo and practicing the path is more effective than anything else. As Lord Naropa said: This bardo, the body of combined wind and mind, is similar in nature to the Sambhogakaya and Dharmata.
