The second chapter. In general, it explains the classification of the three yogas. Here, it specifically explains the methods of practice. The first chapter is divided into three parts: Wind Yoga, Bindu Yoga, and Tummo Yoga. The first part is: Controlling the wind through four combinations and five key points. This is the mount for the mind to enter objects, and the craftsman who creates the vessels and contents of the three realms. Therefore, binding the root and branch winds without wavering is the basis of the path of liberation and everything. So, how does one practice yoga? Mainly relying on the four combinations and five key points, the vase breath that combines the upper and lower winds at the navel is emphasized. As stated in the Root Tantra of the Compendium: 'The winds that move above and below, combine them with the mind. If you become accustomed to this combination, you will attain a stable position.' There are four ways to control the wind through this combination: shortening according to the number of fingers of each element, which is controlling the measure; reducing the inhalation and exhalation, which is controlling the number; the outward movement becoming slow and gentle, which is controlling the force; staying in its own place, such as the navel, and not moving outward, lasting for a long time, which is controlling the qualities. The first three also occur in some animals, so they are not genuine control. The last one is the genuine control of the wind, from which experience arises in the continuum. Among them, the four combinations are: As stated in the Later Teachings: 'Inhaling, filling, pressing, and shooting like an arrow, there are four types. If you do not understand these four combinations, the qualities may become faults.' The five key points are: the key point of blowing to prevent the wind from reversing, the key point of inhaling to hold it in its own place, the key point of filling to control it, the key point of pressing to insert it into the channels, and the key point of shooting to mix the inner and outer winds. The second part is: Melting bliss bindu, combining and binding without leakage. When practicing yoga with the countless bindus that arise from the indestructible bindu, mainly relying on the white bodhicitta and red bodhicitta, the two bindus are combined through the illusion of burning and dripping. Thus, the conceptual thoughts of transformation are bound as non-leaking, thereby meditating on the co-emergent wisdom of bliss and emptiness. Because this body is formed from the complete fusion of sperm and blood in the womb, the white and red bodhicitta are the main elements of the body, and the other parts of the body are transformations of these two.

So! The two Bodhicitta, the white one mainly resides in the head, and the red one mainly resides in the navel. The essence of the red element obtained from the mother, the characteristic of Tummo Atung, is: it has the red color of the sun's nature, completely pure; its tactile sensation, formed from the heat of wind and fire, is hot; its experience is blissful for the sake of Bodhicitta, the nectar of wisdom; its nature is emptiness because of the nature of Dharmadhatu, the Perfection of Wisdom, and it possesses these four characteristics. The essence of the white element obtained from the father, the nature of Bodhicitta, the syllable 'Hum' (Tibetan: ཧཾ, Sanskrit Devanagari: हं, Sanskrit Romanization: haṃ, literal Chinese meaning: Hum), is white because it is a part of the lunar realm; it shines like a pearl because it is connected with Chandali, the nature of wisdom; it is oily because Bodhicitta possesses the essence of nectar; it is blissful when invoked in any chakra location, so it is completely and perfectly gathered, possessing these four characteristics. The white element mainly resides in the head, and partially pervades the entire body, especially the chakras. Therefore, each of these four chakras possesses the virtue of purifying the four realms of body, speech, mind, and bliss, and they are the basis for the arising of the four joys of body, speech, mind, and wisdom. From the upper chakras, a stream of melting essence that has the ability to generate such virtues arises, and at the end of the sixteen joys that depend on the sixteen white elements, the innate joy arises. The red element also resides in the navel, but partially pervades the chakras. Therefore, each of these four chakras possesses the virtue of purifying the three stains of dust, darkness, and cowardice, and they are the basis for the arising of the three Vajra joys. From the upper chakras, a stream of melting essence that has the ability to generate such virtues arises, and at the end of the four times three, twelve joys that depend on the twelve red elements, the innate joy arises. If one wonders what the meaning is of calling the white and red elements Bodhicitta, Bodhicitta has three aspects: cause, path, and result. The cause is the beginningless and endless Bodhicitta that is inherently present in the minds of sentient beings. The path has two aspects: common and secret. The common meaning is the two truths Bodhicitta of the vehicle of cause. The secret meaning is the obscuration of what is inherently present.
