And the Dharmakaya is manifested. By the oral instructions of transference, the aggregates of consciousness and the realm of space are purified, and the siddhi of the Ratna family and the body of great bliss are manifested. Thus, having a good understanding of the three: what is to be purified, what purifies, and the result of purification, it is considered essential for understanding the key points of the path. Thus, Lord Marpa spoke briefly like a stream of nectar, while the glorious Rangjung Dorje and Lord Khachö Wangpo and others explained it extensively. Three, the detailed explanation of the meaning of practice, there are six: Tummo is the pillar of the path, illusory body is the enhancement of the path, dream yoga is the measure of the path, clear light is the essence of the path, bardo is the decisive point of the path, and transference is the farewell of the path. One, Tummo has two parts: generally showing the sound meaning and differences, and specifically explaining the meaning of practice. The former, Tummo, the pillar of the path, the short A of emptiness, contains the secret of union, cutting off elaboration, and combining practice with the state of supreme bliss. By generating the co-emergent of the worldly and transmundane in one's own continuum, it is like the pillar or foundation stone of the path of union, therefore the pillar of the path is Tummo. Its sound meaning is also: whatever hits the key point, burns the impure aggregates and realms, and cuts off all afflictive thoughts from the root, hence it is called Tum. As the Vajra Heart Commentary says: Because it burns, it is said to be Tummo. Also, as the Hevajra Difficult Explanation of the Lotus Born Vajra says: Tummo is that which eradicates the afflictions of existence from the root. Also, as the Difficult Explanation of Naropa says: Because it performs the work of Tum, it is called Tummo. Because it quickly generates the wisdom of co-emergent bliss and emptiness, it is called "Mo". As the Fearless Commentary says: Chandali is the nature of perfect wisdom, which will surely realize. A is great compassion. These are those who lead to the incomparable state, hence it is called Tummo. Thus it is said. There are three differences: A-Tum, A-short, and A-sha. Among them, the first is to subdue afflictions, which is the function; the second is unborn, which is the nature; the third is like the A-sha left after erasing the A, which is the shape.

It is established. Although there are very many categories of Tummo, the glorious Khachö Wangmo (Ḍākinīśvarī) made a classification of outer, inner, and secret. The source of that is: From the Tantra Equal to Space: "With whatever self-knowing wisdom is desired, one should examine the distinctions of Caṇḍālī. The first is the nature Caṇḍālī, the second is the Tummo Caṇḍālī, the third is the union Caṇḍālī." Among these, the nature Caṇḍālī is the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas, so it is the outer Tummo; the Tummo Caṇḍālī is the short A at the navel, so it is the inner Tummo; the union Caṇḍālī is the union of emptiness endowed with all supreme aspects and the great bliss that is supremely immutable, so it is the secret Tummo. Thus, it is clearly shown as three. The first cuts off the proliferation of view; the second takes the meaning of meditation into experience; the third connects with the state of great bliss that is supremely immutable. So, in general, the order of meditation for one person is like that. Specifically, it is also possible to first train in the inner Caṇḍālī and then, after gaining proficiency, to learn the outer Caṇḍālī and the secret Caṇḍālī. When meditating on the former, if one is able to unite with the supreme Tummo and gain recognition, it is possible to draw out the experiences of the latter. If one does not deviate from the certainty of meditating on the secret Tummo, and takes the outer and inner Tummo as parts of the path, it will become an extraordinarily wonderful practice, so it is guided according to the order of faculties. Among these, the so-called Caṇḍālī of realizing the meaning of outer objects refers to the stages of the Great Seal instructions such as coemergent union, and the experiences arising from them. On this, Lord Gampopa also said it is the Tummo of the Great Seal. Although this is the ultimate Tummo, there is no fault in practicing it as an outer object. Because wisdom emptiness is mainly taught, it is superior to being in accordance with the definitive meaning of both extremes of the wheel, and in mantra, by the power of mental focus, all eighty natural minds dissolve into emptiness, and the meaning is also the same, so it is common to both sutra and mantra. Therefore, it is taught as the Caṇḍālī of realizing the meaning of outer objects. The so-called Caṇḍālī of the secret meaning hidden in the sky, the outer sky is the emptiness of the nature of all dharmas, the glorious.
