The actual mandala for empowerment is: the four mandalas combined with the tantric measure, and among them, the mandala that is suitable for ripening most people today. The first is the self-nature wisdom mandala, the second is the superior samadhi image or emanation mandala, the third is the awareness experience mandala, and the fourth is the superior image mandala. The first three are respectively for the master who is a complete and perfect Buddha, the one who is on the path, and the one who is in the stage of seeing and meditating. The disciples are the bodhisattvas of the earth, and those who have perfected the qualities of seeing, meditating, and gathering. As stated in the Magical Vajra, it is the mandala for empowering them, and it is the realm of the noble ones. The fourth is for the master who possesses the qualities up to obtaining stability in samadhi. The qualified disciples are empowered in the superior image mandala. Among them, according to the categories of those to be tamed, for those of inferior capacity, it is possible to empower by relying on a little bit of the object of focus, such as powder colors; for those of medium capacity, by relying on paintings; and for those of superior capacity, by relying on clusters. As it says in the root text of the empowerment ritual of the Kagye Deshek: "Where is the mandala for empowerment? The best, medium, and worst are said to be. Flowers, paintings, and powder colors, empower in the three mandalas." The mandala of profound empowerment is the same as the aforementioned three supreme empowerments. The actual empowerment is, as stated in the Guhyagarbha Tantra, in the essence: "Having faith, diligence, and asceticism, and realizing, bestow the beneficial empowerment, the power empowerment, bestow in order." Thus, for those with faith, bestow the ten outer beneficial empowerments such as head ornaments and crowns; for those with diligence, for the self-benefit ability of the three, listening and meditating; for the ability to benefit others, teaching and activities; for the ability to benefit both, bestow the empowerment of the Vajra King, all the scriptures, which are the five power empowerments; for the three ascetics who practice awareness equally, bestow the three profound empowerments, making them ripen. As stated in the common Kagye Deshek in the practice section, in the commentary on the sutra collection: "Outer empowerment, inner empowerment, secret empowerment, the view of the vehicle, the general collection empowerment, empower in order to complete." Thus, the four empowerments of outer, inner, secret, and suchness, in order to save and tame beings with anger on the path.

To lead to maturation, the outer empowerment is conferred relying on one hundred and eight external and internal substances such as the vase empowerment. To lead the arrogant to the path of the gods, the inner empowerment is conferred relying on the body. To lead the desirous to the path of union, the secret empowerment is conferred relying on the consort. To lead the deluded to the path of conceptual thought, the empowerment of suchness is conferred relying on the mind. These are the four empowerments. The special instructions of the practice sections, such as the common instructions for Vajrakilaya and other deities, also involve conferring the four empowerments like the general instructions of the unsurpassable tantras. There are also many profound and special practice empowerment methods, but in general, all the empowerments of the unsurpassable tantras are included in the four empowerments. Secondly, the entrance to the activity is: Entering through the three doors of great emptiness, compassion, illusion, and subtle and coarse mudras, and samadhi. Entering through the yoga of wisdom, great emptiness, and the means of compassion, illusion, and subtle and coarse mudras, and samadhi, because this is the path that mainly teaches the generation stage. Therefore, it is also said in Rangshar: "The door of entrance is the three aspects of samadhi." Fourth, the view is: The view is the indivisibility of the two truths, free from the realm of action. It is determined by the great masters through the four types of reasoning, the three types of purification, and the four types of equality. In general, in the "Stages of the Path of Practice" by Shalu Rabjampa Sangye Yeshe, the number of views in the stages of the path of practice is: The view of the indivisibility of the two truths, the definite wisdom; the view of great emptiness, suchness; the view of compassion, illusion, and all appearances; the view of the union of appearance and emptiness, the great seal of one taste; the view of the collection of concepts as a mandala, the mudra with elaboration; the view of transforming desirable qualities into the path, the path of union, the accumulation of merit; the view of mastering stainless awareness, the path of seeing, the ripening and the empowerment of life; the view of the immovability of mind from the equality of dharmata, the path of meditation, the great seal; the view of knowing without object in wisdom, the path of completion, spontaneous accomplishment, etc., are nine types. And the number of views of the meaning of the tantra to be taken is: Not transgressing the vows; the view of action without acceptance or rejection, etc., are nine types. Because all the objects of the tantra are expanded and meditated upon with the view of the indivisibility of the two truths. Here, in particular, it refers to the nature of knowing the cause, or the view of definite wisdom, or the view of suchness among the ten dharmas.
