Entering refers to non-mindfulness. Discrimination is the consciousness that mixes names and meanings and clings to characteristics. Fear is being afraid, and it also has three sizes. Desire is attachment to pleasant objects that have arisen in the three times, and it also has three types. Taking is wanting to enter the realm of desire. The two kinds of unpleasantness caused by hunger and thirst, and feeling, whose nature is pleasure, pain, and equanimity, are divided into three according to size. The knower is the actual knowledge. The so-called "knowing" refers to the knower, the agent, and the basis of clinging, that is, the wrong view that clings to the object of knowledge as if it were not it, and it is divided into three according to the difference of these three objects. Distinguishing between what is reasonable and unreasonable, and knowing shame, that is, oneself becoming bad or unwilling to become bad, or avoiding bad deeds out of concern for the humiliation of others. Although there is shame, it is also included here. Compassion that wishes others to be free from suffering, and loving-kindness that wishes other pleasant sentient beings to meet with happiness, is love, and if divided, there are three sizes. It is also explained that there are three kinds: wishing for pleasantness and happiness for the object, and wishing to protect from harm. Associated with hesitation, having a timid appearance, and lacking trust is doubt. Stinginess that is unwilling to give up is wanting to accumulate, that is, accumulating, and being disturbed by the perfection of others is jealousy. Thus, there are thirty-three in total. The nature of proliferation is forty kinds: delighting in the object to be obtained, and attachment to the object that has already been obtained, and simply the appearance of the object as pleasant is joy, which is divided into three according to size, and being elated to be happy that the wish has been fulfilled, and repeatedly savoring the taste of the same thing is extreme satisfaction, and relying on something newly obtained to raise the mind high is wonder, and the mind longing for the pleasant side is excitement, and being satisfied with happiness is contentment. The mind that wants to embrace is a representation, that is, wanting to create actions of body and speech because of attachment to the object. Wanting to kiss is a representation, that is, wanting to repeatedly create the action of attachment. Similarly, wanting to grasp is also a representation, that is, wanting to create that action without interruption.

. Steadfastness, which is the unwavering cognition that cannot be transformed by others, and delight in virtue is diligence, and thinking highly of oneself based on reasons such as lineage is pride, that is, the seven prides and so on. The activity of not abandoning the effort to complete the tasks to be done is action, greed is robbery, the power to want to destroy others, and the delight of engaging the mind in ordinary tasks. The term "co-emergent" is a mistake translated from an incorrect manuscript. It should be "sa ha sa," but it was mistakenly written as "sa ha dza." Therefore, translating it as hesitation, and translating it as diminishing ability, both of these are good as if translating as diminishing. That is the courage not to shrink back even when it is necessary to engage in difficult tasks, divided into three by the difference of large and small. Similarly, violence is anger, that is, wanting to argue and so on. Furthermore, thinking of beautiful ornaments as coquetry, holding grudges as resentment, rejoicing in virtue as virtue, clear words that one wants others to understand, wanting to speak the truth, untruth, that is, wanting to lie, the determination to firmly make a vow, not wanting to fully accept an object because of weariness with the object, not accepting closeness, the mind of the one who wants to give, wanting to encourage others to engage in work, the mind of a hero who wants to be liberated from obscurations, shamelessness without fear of wrongdoing, deception of wanting to deceive others, clinging to malicious wrong views, that is, the five wrong views, even if the dwelling, body, and enjoyment of others are destroyed, the act of not caring at all is disrespect, and the deception of hiding one's own faults is hypocrisy, totaling forty. The seven natures of attainment are: ignorance, the fruit of the mind being deluded by desire, is the intermediate state stained by desire, and because it is not clear, it is ignorance. Similarly, forgetfulness of losing memory, regarding the great as small, mistaking form for sound, etc., reluctance to speak is the mind that has become speechless, weariness of being tired of whatever object it is, laziness of not delighting in virtue, and doubt of hesitating, these are the seven moments of ignorance.
