The collection of six is the Vajra body. The thirty-six are: form, feeling, perception, formation, consciousness, and wisdom, which are the six aggregates; earth, water, fire, wind, space, and consciousness, which are the six elements; eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind, which are the six faculties; form, sound, smell, taste, touch, and dharma, which are the six objects; mouth, hand, foot, the path of excrement, the path of urine, and the faculty from which semen flows, which are the six action faculties; the actions of speaking, taking, going, excreting urine, and moving semen, which are the six actions of the action faculties. Second, the explanation of the channels: the three main channels, the twenty-four secondary channels, the six chakras, and the subtle ones, seventy-two thousand. In the unsurpassed yoga tantras, it is said that the arising of wisdom in the mind depends on the functioning of the body's channels, so it is important to know their state. To mention only the names, the main channel of the channels is the central channel (Uma), and its different names are Avadhuti (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思), the staff of Brahma, and so on. The upper end is called Rahu, and the lower end is called Conch Mother, and so on. Most people think that in terms of location and meditation, there are two types of channels: the central channel and the dual channels. Some think it is the central channel itself. Some say that its center is as thick as a horse's tail. Others think that it does not actually exist. However, according to the view of the venerable Rangjung Dorje: it is located in the central part of the body, without the two of grasper and grasped, so method and wisdom are inseparable. The root of all wisdom is the alaya-jnana, and the root of all consciousness is the alaya-vijnana. Therefore, the two are not different, just as ordinary consciousness is called the Tathagatagarbha in terms of being the cause of Buddhahood. The root of all the roots of wisdom is the central channel, and the root of all the roots of samsara is the life channel, so the two are inseparable, and it is called the life channel because the life depends on the Rahu channel. In short, the impure body's channel is the central channel, and the nature or extent of the pure result-time central channel pervades the ground central channel. By meditating on retraction and so on, a little prana-mind enters the inner central channel, and the outer environment appears as empty form, like a black line, which is the path central channel. Abiding in the supreme body Vajra, the nature of being free from obscurations is the result central channel, as distinguished by the Eighth Karmapa.

Therefore, from its navel upwards is the path of the three channels of the sun, moon, and Rahu, and from below the navel is the path through which the three excretions of feces, urine, and semen flow. Twenty-four main channels branch out from these three channels. These channels are internally the channels, externally the twenty-four realms, and otherwise in the mandala are the nature of the twenty-four yoginis of body, speech, and mind. Above that, the thirty-two channels that rely on the branch winds of the heart, including the five channels and the three main channels, are said to be the fifteen selflessness goddesses who are perfectly pure in the fifteen phases of the waxing and waning moon. The support for the sixteen white parts is the Conch-Bearing Mother, and the support for the sixteen black parts is the Demon-Free Mother. Above these, adding the five channels that are the support for the five root winds, totaling thirty-seven, on the ground are the thirty-six elements together with the pervasive Mind Vajra. On the path, they are combined with the thirty-seven factors of enlightenment. Furthermore, there are the so-called five hidden channels: the encircling eye, the desiring mother's ear, the household mother's nose, the fierce woman's tongue, and the demon-free small tongue, which are located in the center and whose roots converge in the heart center, connecting with the central channel. This also arises from the indestructible luminosity of the heart and enters into objects such as form. On the path, by binding these, it becomes the root of the channels that manifest the ten signs, so it is hidden, like a seed or a hidden treasure. The four or six chakras rely on the central channel. The meaning of the word 'chakra' is either because the shape of the channel petals is like a wheel, or because by binding the key points and striking them, it cuts off the four temporary delusions. That is, in the navel there are sixty-four channel petals, purifying the sixty-four winds of the Kalachakra, and by binding the key points, it can manifest the state of awakening, manifesting the intention of the Nirmanakaya; in the heart there are eight channel petals, purifying the eight great morsels, and by binding the key points, it can manifest the state of deep sleep, manifesting the intention of the Dharmakaya; in the throat there are sixteen channel petals, purifying the sixteen transmigrations, and by binding the key points, it can manifest the state of dreams, manifesting the intention of the Sambhogakaya; in the crown there are thirty-two channel petals, purifying the time divisions, and by binding the key points of the bindu, it can manifest the state of generation, manifesting the intention of the Jnanakaya. Or four, as the Kalachakra Tantra says: In the crown of the head there are four great morsels, in the crown there are sixteen.
