It is said that the nature or state of all phenomena from samsara to nirvana is the profound and clear non-duality of wisdom, which is perfectly pure like the center of the sky. Therefore, by meditating on the yoga of the four drops, relying on the ability to control the channels and energies of the body, the mind itself merges into that profound essence. The clear deity form, like an illusion, is united non-dually with the Mahamudra. These two do not alternate, but gather simultaneously, touching the ultimate result. As it is said in the 'Drop of Liberation': 'Completely free from all conceptual thoughts, far beyond the realm of thought and expression, like the sky, immaculate and all-arising, beyond examination, it is called profound. Holding the form of Mahamudra, like an illusion or a rainbow, purifying the continuum of self and others, it is called true clarity. The supreme nature of these two being non-dual, the lord pervading all things, not tainted by samsara, is said to be the Dharmadhatu.' Thus it is said. Among them, profound refers to the mind itself, which cannot be conceived by conceptual thought, cannot be expressed by words, is devoid of elaboration and the stains of characteristics, and cannot be touched by any extreme, like the sky. Clear refers to the unobstructed manifestation of various forms of self-luminous light, which is completely clear and free from stains, like an illusion or a rainbow. In this way, the path of the indivisible union of profound and clear will lead to liberation. Relying on only one of these two will not lead to liberation. Therefore, the key point of all completion stages is that the ultimate point is the union of the two truths, or the union of profound clarity, bliss, and emptiness. Like the way of union and the way of non-duality explained in the Five Stages, this act as the cause of Buddhahood must be understood as common to all great chariot completion stages. With its key point, in the stage of generation, it is also explained the sequence of rising into the deity's body from the state of entering emptiness through Svabhava (Sanskrit) and so on. Other completion stages must also accomplish the wisdom body of union, so think about how to become the means of accomplishment, and thus grasp the key points of the completion stage. According to the special instruction of the Yeshe Zhap tradition, the essential point of the oral instruction is the guidance of the non-duality of profound clarity, the supreme empowerment.
