LT08 0001.Chapter Four Establishing the Secret Mantra Vajrayana.g2.0f

English

Because it is the nature of movement. The subsequent arising is a branch of Vajrasattva, which is wisdom. The reason for this is that the act of subsequent arising is for the purpose of the deities of the mandala arising from the bodhicitta of the main father and mother. Therefore, the main deity must perform the subsequent arising, and that itself is also considered to be Vajrasattva. Fourth, the vows of the eight branches are: the eight stages are combined by the accomplished master Jalandhara. Also, ground knowledge, path knowledge, omniscience, complete manifestation, summit, gradual, instantaneous, Dharmakaya, that is, the eight stages are called enlightenment, combined by the accomplished master Jalandhara, but it is not well known in this region, so it is not explained in detail. Fifth, the vows of the twelve branches are: there are twelve branches in the Kalachakra. In the Kalachakra, the main thing is the actual matter. The branch of approaching the completion of the body, the branch of approaching the supreme king of the mandala, from the branch of accomplishing the completion of the bindu of the supreme king, the yoga of the bindu. The Dharma Lord Omniscient Father and Sons consider that the great branch of accomplishing the completion of bliss and the subtle yoga are included in the four. However, most of the early generations, mainly followers of Tsami such as Gyalwa Rangjung Zhap, considered that they were included in the twelve branches. That is, generating the palace including the seat. Generating the main father and mother with the five manifest enlightenments. Generating the mandala that relies on the consort's abode, and then generating the mandala supreme king. There, putting the six types of sentient beings and giving empowerment. Urging the main father and mother to merge with songs. Again, shaping the main deity into a form body with three rituals. Gathering the deities of the mandala and generating the supreme king that arises after generating. Inviting the wisdom being and sending it back. Giving empowerment. The lineage lord blesses and the four vajras bless. Bindu yoga, subtle yoga. These are also combined with the twelve links of dependent origination of existence to be purified, the twelve suchnesses of the result of purification, and so on. Sixth, other than these, there is also elaboration in the vow of pure auspicious signs. In addition, Jalandharapa and Rahu's secret teachings have thirty sutras on the practice methods for purifying the thirty-two signs of a great person.

There are also two ways to elaborate: the offering wheel, the four abodes of Brahma, the supreme and co-emergent desire gods, the protective wheel, liberation, the charnel ground, the multi-storied building, the mandala of matter, semen falling, standing, and laughing, the nature of anger being given, the wheel of wisdom, empowerment and establishment, tasting nectar and benefiting sentient beings, the six branches and the rising of clear light, reciting mantras, meditating on subtle tormas, the second laughter, holding and eating, conduct of lying down and rising again. Thus it is said. Secondly, there are eight explanations of the realization of possessing those limbs: the person who practices, the place where it is practiced, the time of practice, the favorable conditions during practice, the method of practice, the basis to be purified, the purifier, and the way of combining, the result of such practice, and the way it becomes a ripening factor for the completion stage. The first is: the meditator who realizes the possession of those limbs, has received empowerment and possesses vows. This means that in order to meditate on the stages of realization that possess those limbs just mentioned, first of all, the person who is the basis of the meditator needs to possess three special characteristics, and the way to tame one's mind through common and uncommon paths has already been explained. In particular, it is necessary to have great faith in the Vajrayana, therefore receive the ripening empowerment, and abide by the vows and commitments made during the empowerment. As it is said in the 'Samputa Tantra': 'Those who have not entered the mandala, have abandoned their vows, and do not know the secret truth, will not accomplish anything even if they practice.' Thus it is said. Secondly, the place where it is practiced: the place should be in accordance with the tantra. This means the place for meditating on the generation stage. In the 'Root Tantra of Guhyasamaja' it is said: 'The place of the great solitude, adorned with flowers, fruits, etc., in the solitary mountain place, practice to gather all the siddhis.' Thus it is said. And as it is said in the 'Kunjang': 'In some places, pure water is abundant, excellent trees are beautifully adorned, in one side of the mountain, one should practice the Bhagavan called Manjushri.' Thus it is said. And in most of the sadhanas it is said: 'In a secluded and pleasant place.' In general, it is a secluded place with abundant favorable conditions. In particular, in the 'Practice Manual' it says: 'In a garden or a mountain or offering to the Victorious Ones.'

Solitary places and abodes of deities are empty; places of accomplishment, cemeteries, lakes, auspicious places, and similarly, hidden places. Wherever the mind is completely satisfied, there one should practice, O lord of men! Thus, for attracting power, in joyful gardens; for bewilderment, rigidity, and staking three, on mountains; for the eight siddhis, in the abode of the supreme Victor, that is, the great stupa endowed with blessings; for expulsion and separation, in the empty abode of deities; summarized by the word "and," on the seashore. For accomplishing the siddhis of vast activities, in the place attained by accomplished ones; for killing, in the cemetery; for pacifying, increasing, and subjugating, in order, in lakes and auspicious places, that is, wealthy and prosperous villages or cities; for accomplishing the sovereignty of the three realms, in hidden places, caves or rock caves. Furthermore, wherever the mind is satisfied and in accordance with one's wishes, there one should practice, as it is said, in short, it should be in accordance with the tantra. Third, the duration of practice: First, when stability is attained at night, examine the timing. Most mantra practitioners, being beginners, find it easier to accomplish clarity by meditating on the deity yoga at night. After attaining stability, practice constantly without alternating day and night. The duration also depends on whether one focuses on the generation stage, desires common siddhis, or aims at subtle activities that can be accomplished in a special way. Therefore, one should practice until stability in the clarity of the deity yoga is attained, which is said to be generally accomplished in one year. For practicing ordinary activities such as Vajrakila and fire offerings, if one possesses samaya and diligence, and has a strong mental force on the object of focus, even without attaining stability in clarity, one can accomplish it by reciting the mantra as previously stated to reach the number, therefore one should practice until that time. Fourth, the favorable conditions for practice: Relying on courage, companions, and the accumulation of resources. Even for the sake of life, one should possess the courage of intense diligence that does not relax under any circumstances until the practice is accomplished, and male and female companions with characteristics as described in the tantra. The resources of samaya, painted images and hunting bells, hand drums, skull cups, and other hand implements complete with their appropriate proportions.
