This is an explanation of the stages of entering. Firstly, what needs to be abandoned in the generation stage are ordinary appearances and attachments, and the antidotes that contradict the belief in reality, which are clear appearance, pride, and the intention of illusion. In the generation stage, in order to attain wisdom, the first thing to do is to identify the target to be abandoned. As it is said in the Vajra Tent Tantra: "In order to destroy ordinary conceptualizations, meditation should be properly proclaimed." Therefore, what needs to be abandoned are ordinary appearances and attachments to ordinariness. By meditating on the appearance of the deity's form and attachment to the deity, the manifestation of appearance and attachment can be immediately prevented. By understanding the lack of inherent existence, the belief in reality in both ordinary and deity appearances can also be stopped. Therefore, one should strive to apply the antidotes that contradict appearance, attachment, and the belief in reality. In the Paramita Vehicle, it is only by destroying the cause of afflictions that the suffering of the result is prevented. But here, the suffering of impure appearances is first transformed into a pure mandala, thereby immediately preventing the appearance of suffering. Therefore, here, what contradicts the ordinary form is the clear appearance of the deity's form, what contradicts the ordinary human pride is the practice of Heruka and other forms of pride, and what contradicts the belief in reality is the intention of illusion. If clear appearance arises for these, they can be immediately stopped, and clear appearance can be easily generated, just like a lustful person seeing the clear appearance of a woman in their mind. In the Commentary on Valid Cognition, it is also said: "Therefore, whether it is real or unreal, as long as it is very familiar, when familiarity is complete, it is the fruit of clear, non-conceptual wisdom." This means that if one is familiar, both real and unreal clear appearances will arise. The second part is divided into three points: analyzing the types of generation, analyzing the person who generates, and analyzing the order of the basis to be purified and the place of generation. The first point is: the types are eight, such as generating from the basis to be purified, etc. When summarized, they can be grouped into two: the basis and the removal of the basis. There are many ways to generate, both extensive and concise, but if classified, they can be divided into eight types, and when summarized, they can be grouped into two. First, divided into eight types: generating from the basis to be purified, and generating from special intention included in "etc.", generating like a fish jumping out of water, generating like a seed with only a name, generating like an essence with only a mantra.

Generation. Generation by just three rituals. Among them, there are also eight types: generation with a seat, and generation with the union of the sun and moon. The first is like generating heroes and heroines from the elements within the channels and their complete transformation. The second is generation from special devotion, thinking that it is completely accomplished in an instant just by remembering it in the mind, and meditating that it arises as causeless wish-fulfillment. This is also called instantaneous generation. The third is generation like a fish leaping in water, visualizing it arising as if a fish jumps out of the water or a bubble bursts on top of a palace or seat. The fourth is generation by just the seed syllable, such as generating Don Drub (Amoghasiddhi) from ཨི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ई, Romanized Sanskrit: ī, Literal Chinese meaning: I) or generating Tara from ཏཱཾ་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ताम, Romanized Sanskrit: tāṃ, Literal Chinese meaning: Dang). The fifth is generation by just the essence mantra, reciting ཨོཾ་ཨ་མོ་གྷ་སིདྡྷི་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། (Tibetan, Devanagari: ॐ अमोघ सिद्धि स्वाहा, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ amogha siddhi svāhā, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Amogha, Siddhi, Svaha), visualizing the accomplishment of the form of Amoghasiddhi. The sixth is generation by just three rituals, such as generating a sword from ཨི་ (Tibetan, Devanagari: ई, Romanized Sanskrit: ī, Literal Chinese meaning: I), and generating Don Drub from that. The seventh is also generation with a seat, generating with three rituals on a lotus moon or lotus sun. The eighth is generation with the union of the sun and moon, generating from the seed syllable in the center of the union of the sun and moon or on top of the sun and moon. Second, summarizing these, if we summarize these eight ways of generating deities, they can be summarized into two ways of generation: that which is the basis and that which removes the basis. The first of these is the first of the eight itself. Removing the basis means generating after removing the basis of purification with emptiness, which are the remaining seven from before, and they can also be summarized into four: instant generation, generation from just the seed syllable, generation with three rituals, and generation with the five manifest enlightenments, indicated in order by two, two, two, and one of those seven. Second, examining the individual who generates is divided into two: the difference in the order of faculties and the way of transforming into the four wisdoms. The first is that individuals have three types of faculties: dull, medium, and sharp. So, do these orders of deity generation have an order of faculties for yogis? It must be asserted that they do. As it says in the *Compendium of Vows*: "Meditate on the mandala of the generation stage. Those with dull and medium faculties should contemplate. Those with sharp faculties, with an instant appearance, the mandala of just the mind."
