It is not. Because it follows the corresponding cause and effect. Being skilled in the senses is the sixth antidote, because the person (Sanskrit: pudgala) is not the cause of the master, but serves as the basis for the mastery of the twenty-two senses. Being skilled in time is the seventh antidote, because the self is not permanent, but is subject to arising and ceasing by the three times of past, present, and future. Being skilled in the four noble truths is the eighth antidote, because the self of the person (Sanskrit: pudgala) is not the place of universal defilement and universal purification, but the first two truths are the place of universal defilement, and the latter two truths are the place of universal purification. Being skilled in the vehicle is the ninth antidote, and being skilled in the conditioned and unconditioned is the tenth antidote. There are many other such reasons, so they should be understood in the treatises. Third, there are five points in explaining the terms related to both the selflessness of persons and the selflessness of phenomena: Examining whether the two are the same or different, the necessity of explaining the two, what is to be refuted by the two, the determining measure, and the examination of correct reasoning. The first point: Since all dharmas are selfless, in essence, There is no difference in what is to be refuted, the truly established self and I. From the aspect of negation, they are established as that and this. The two selflessnesses of person and phenomena are the same in essence and different in negation. The reason for this is that all phenomena of appearance and sound are selfless. From the aspect of essence, there is not the slightest difference. For example, a vase, although there is no object of difference that can be grasped, if the appearance of difference is determined under the temporary balance of imputation, then things like vases, neither I nor mine ever exist, this is the selflessness of person; the true establishment of the vase does not exist at all, this is the selflessness of phenomena; because there is no difference in essence between its non-establishment of self and non-establishment of truth. Therefore, all dharmas are both the selflessness of person and the selflessness of phenomena, but from the aspect of negating the self to be refuted, it is the selflessness of person, and from the aspect of negating the truly established to be refuted, it is the selflessness of phenomena, that is, it is established as that and this from the way of negating the object to be refuted, that is, it is distinguished by negation. Second, explaining the necessity of the two: The reason for the necessity

In order to embrace these two, if the nature of the two kinds of selflessness is not different, then what is the necessity of distinguishing them into two? The reason is that, in order to embrace those of the Hearer-Solitary Realizer lineage of the Lesser Vehicle, the Buddha taught the selflessness of persons; and in order to embrace those of the Great Vehicle Bodhisattva lineage, the Buddha taught the selflessness of phenomena. For those of the Lesser Vehicle lineage, it is necessary to definitively teach the selflessness of persons, because without teaching it, there is no liberation from samsara; and they do not possess the capacity to teach the selflessness of phenomena that is superior to it, so even if it is taught to them, there is no need. Only the selflessness of persons is taught. But for those of the Great Vehicle lineage, in order to attain omniscience, the selflessness of phenomena is taught. Third, examining the object of negation of these two: The object of negation, the actual object, does not exist in reality, but it is imputed by the subject's delusion of grasping onto it. The object of negation of these two kinds of selflessness does not exist in reality, because a permanent, singular, and independent self of a person cannot exist, and likewise, in any phenomenon of appearance and sound, there cannot exist a phenomenon that is established by its own nature or established as truly existent. However, the mind's delusion of grasping onto it is the object of negation of the two kinds of selflessness, because it is the inverted conceptualization of grasping onto what does not exist as existing, so it is to reverse it. Therefore, since the object of negation does not exist in reality, there is nothing to be abandoned; but the object of negation of the subject is an inverted conceptualization, and abandoning such a conceptualization is called abandoning the self. If the object of negation were established in reality, then no matter how much effort is made, it could not be abandoned, because no one can negate what exists in reality, and no one can establish what does not exist in reality. Fourth, the valid cognition of determination: Intelligence and inference are special qualities of wisdom born from thought, and are the first valid cognitions that determine the ultimate truth. If we summarize the clear classifications that rely on reasoning,
