That's all. It is said so. On this, the Root Wisdom says: "The conventional truth of the world, and the truth of the ultimate meaning." As such, the deceptive dharma is the conventional truth, and the non-deceptive is the ultimate truth. Or, from the perspective of appearance and the way of abiding, the conventional and ultimate truths are divided into two. Second, the distinctions of each are: The mistaken appearance is the appearance of the mind of the traveler. It is mostly held that the non-deceptive is the path and the fruit. Beings and noble ones, worldly yogis are conventional truth, the essence of ultimate truth is inseparable, with three characteristics. From the aspect of the subject, it can be divided into sixteen kinds, etc. Appearances also have two kinds: mistaken and non-mistaken. First, the mistaken appearance is: In the mind of the traveler, however many mistaken appearances, mistaken attachments, and mistaken consciousnesses arise, because of deception and untruth, from hell to Buddha, all appearances that can be thought and spoken are established by the drawings of the mind, therefore they do not touch reality, so they are said to be mistaken. Among them, the four elements, etc., that appear and can function are the true conventional truth, like the appearance of two moons, the appearance that cannot function is the false conventional truth. There are two kinds of non-deceptive conventional truth: From the fruit, the non-deceptive is the wisdom of the path, possessing qualities, constantly rising upwards, although it is impermanent, it is non-deceptive in relation to progressing to the ground of nature. Obtaining the fruit and not being deceived is the wisdom of the Buddha, possessing the form body, residing in Akanishta. These are mostly asserted by the Svatantrika. Moreover, this school believes that the true conventional truth refers to the sense consciousnesses that grasp forms, sounds, etc., in the continuum of those who see from this side, believing that they are not deceived by their own appearing objects. However, the Prasangika believes that these are also deceptive to their own appearing objects, therefore they do not assert the true conventional truth. If it is admitted to be conventional truth, it is admitted to be false. Whether or not it is believed to be self-established also depends on this, therefore this is a subtle point, as the later logicians said. Or, it can be divided into two kinds of conventional truth: beings and noble ones. The first is the moon in the water and the reflection of sound, etc., because these are false and deceptive dharmas, even children can completely understand them. The second is the children.
