In essence, the latter is irreversible. Even towards a single sentient being, if one gives up the aspiration to establish them in enlightenment, thinking "this one will never benefit," it becomes a root downfall. The components are: the object, a sentient being; never thinking of benefiting them; and lacking the mind to purify again; thus, it is complete with these three. The fifth is the degeneration of Bodhicitta like a kundala (essence): In the Great Commentary, it states: "Without understanding the true nature, if, with the mind desiring to attain Buddhahood through the bliss of the union of the two faculties, one emits semen, it transgresses and becomes the fifth root downfall (folio 84b)." Thus, it demonstrates the essence of the root downfall. Furthermore, from the two Bodhicittas, conventional and ultimate, which are the root of all phenomena, the two bodies of a Buddha are accomplished. The cause of the Form Body is precisely that conventional Bodhicitta, like the kundala (essence), and its degeneration is the essence of this downfall. The five components are: not knowing the unchanging bliss through great wisdom; desiring to attain Buddhahood through the fleeting bliss that escapes; (misusing) the substance of secret mantra empowerment; not being a condition for the bliss conferred upon others through wisdom-knowledge empowerment; and not for the purpose of nectar pills, etc. With these five components, it becomes a root downfall. The sixth is: Generally, out of a desire for gain and respect, to disparage other tenets. If one disparages Mahayana sutras, it is a grave offense; towards Hinayana, it is an offense; towards externalists, etc., it is a minor offense. However, if one disparages them with the intention of subduing them, there is no fault, and moreover, merit is gained, as it is taught. Specifically, within the Buddhist tenets, the two, Mantra (Vajrayana) and Perfection of Wisdom (Prajnaparamita), are in a cause-and-effect relationship. From the three turnings of the Dharma Wheel: Firstly, it is taught to realize the selflessness of persons and the non-existence of true reality in apprehended objects (general meanings); secondly, it is taught to realize the emptiness of all phenomena, transcending speech, thought, and expression; thirdly, in the nature of practice, it is taught to realize the clear light mind, through individual self-awareness and explanation. Such a progression, through the sequence of the four classes of Tantra, ultimately teaches the realization of the simultaneous taste of indivisible bliss and emptiness, ཨེ་ཝྃ་ (ए वं, E Vam, union of wisdom and skillful means, non-duality of emptiness and bliss). For the ultimate reality being one, if one regards as inferior and disparages the profound Prajnaparamita that contains the essential meaning of Mantra, it becomes the sixth root downfall. The component is abiding in the definitive meaning of Mantra.

holding the Prajñāpāramitā and supreme mantra as inferior (85na) and directly uttering words of slander. Considering that as a good explanation. Not for the purpose of guiding, etc., but adhering solely to the Pāramitāyāna; thus, it is completed with these three factors. The seventh is giving secrets to unripe individuals. Unripe by empowerment, and adhering to the Śrāvakayāna, etc. If the secret of great bliss is proclaimed to those of a type who, upon hearing secret teachings, will be frightened and disrespectful, it becomes the seventh (transgression). The unripe factor is that those of the Śrāvaka and Pratyekabuddha lineage are of the type who, upon hearing secrets, will be frightened and disrespectful. Proclaiming the secret of great bliss to them. The latter two factors are similar, thus it is completed. Dārikapa said that if the secret of great bliss is proclaimed, it becomes an obstacle to supreme siddhi. And if the general secret of tantra is proclaimed, it is said to become an obstacle to common siddhi. Here, there are four types of unripe individuals: those with wrong views who are angry at the Dharma, unripe in disposition. Seeing a self, weary of samsara, and not working for the benefit of sentient beings – these three are unripe due to circumstances. Great desire, tirthika, śrāvaka, and pratyekabuddha – these are the four obscurations. It is said that for the unripe ones, in sequence, the higher (more profound) ones must be kept secret. The eighth is defiling the aggregates. Generally, one should not despise all aggregates, elements, and sense bases of oneself and others, because they are the form body with defilements. Specifically, by vase empowerment, the aggregates, etc., are introduced as the nature of a Buddha; by offering pleasing sense objects, the support, bliss, increases. By that, the supported wisdom, suchness itself, is actualized. But if one holds the aggregates as the principal source of all suffering (the origin of suffering), through ascetic practices such as cutting with weapons and burning with fire, etc., and through austerities such as fasting, etc., if one afflicts the body, it becomes a root downfall. Knowing that the factors (aggregates, etc.) are such, knowingly afflicting the body (85b). The latter two factors are similar to the former, thus completed with these four. If so, then what about those instances in many tantra sections where it is said to abide in fasting (vows)? That is not for the purpose of afflicting the body, but for purification to please the deity, or it is a factor of inner cleansing. Therefore, there is no fault in that, and moreover, the benefits are great. The ninth is: Generally, b
