无有特殊需要而将食物施予外道男女。 观看军队的堕罪是:逾越界限附近,观看并见到军队。 住在军队中的堕罪是:无有特殊需要而在军队中停留超过一日。 扰乱布阵的堕罪是:非有特殊需要而扰乱并触碰军队的武器,以及布设队伍的阵型。 殴打的堕罪是:自己殴打比丘或令他人殴打。 预谋殴打的堕罪是:对比丘预谋殴打。 庇护恶处的堕罪是:非有特殊需要而明知其他比丘发生了波罗夷或僧残的堕罪却予以庇护。 六十戒之第六组是: 断食触火欲改未圆满,邪见不舍; 随行毁坏摄受著衣语,触浴。 断食的堕罪是:以嗔恨心,断绝同伴比丘的适时之食。 触火的堕罪是:非因授时许可或病重之故而触碰火。 若必须触碰,则经过授时许可,例如为了法义,比丘僧众共同的神像(34b)等,于此时忆念世尊曾开许,方可触碰。 若触碰余烬,则犯恶作;若将薪柴投入火焰,则犯波逸提;若投入毛发等其他物品,则犯恶作。 总而言之,律典中宣说了如是十一种授时许可,即: 衣、钵、珍宝, 忏悔堕罪、安居, 自恣、医药、适宜房舍, 所得及时之物,即是授时。 改变意乐的堕罪是:为了避免僧团行事有异,已献出意乐,却又使其退回,说“请将意乐还给我”。 越夜宿住的堕罪是:与未圆具戒者,在同一界限内,宿住超过两夜。 不舍邪见的堕罪是:不信任佛陀的教言。

To offer food to external male and female adherents without special need. The transgression of watching an army is: having gone beyond the vicinity of the boundary, watching and seeing an army. The transgression of staying within an army is: to stay within an army for more than one day without special need. The transgression of disturbing arrangements is: not having a special need, to disturb and touch the weapons of an army, and to arrange the formation of a troop. The transgression of striking is: oneself striking a bhikshu or causing another to strike. The transgression of threatening to strike is: to prepare to strike a bhikshu. The transgression of concealing a bad situation is: not having a special need, to knowingly conceal a bhikshu who has committed a pārājika or saṅghāvaśeṣa transgression. The sixth group of ten (transgressions) is: Cutting food, touching fire, changing intention, not fully ordained, not abandoning wrong views; Following, destroying, gathering, wearing clothes, speaking, touching, bathing. The transgression of cutting off food is: out of malicious intent, to deprive a fellow bhikshu of his timely food. The transgression of touching fire is: to touch fire not due to a timely blessing or due to illness. If it is necessary to touch, then it must be blessed in time, for example, for the sake of Dharma, such as for the community of bhikshus' shared deities (34b), etc., at such a time, one may touch after recalling that the Buddha had permitted it. If one touches embers, it is an offense of wrong-doing (duṣkṛta); if one places firewood into a flame, it is a pācittiya offense; if one places hair or other items, it is an offense of wrong-doing. In general, the Vinaya texts speak of eleven such timely blessings, namely: Robe, alms bowl, jewels, Confession of transgressions, summer retreat, Pravāraṇā (end of retreat), medicine, proper dwelling, Timely acquired possessions, these are the timely blessings. The transgression of retracting one's intention is: to have offered one's intention to prevent discord in the saṅgha's actions, but then to make it return, saying, "Please give back the intention." The transgression of staying overnight is: to stay in the same enclosure with an unordained person for more than two nights. The transgression of not abandoning wrong views is: not trusting the words of the Teacher (Buddha).

Transgression of associating with the expelled: Engaging in similar conduct with a bhikshu who has been expelled from the sangha. Transgression of gathering expelled novice monks: Similar to the above (expelled bhikshus), with the exception of novice nuns. Transgression of wearing undyed robes: Wearing a robe that is a cubit long, undyed with the appropriate three colors, and without other covering. Transgression of touching precious jewels (which serve as a basis for arrogance): With a frivolous and arrogant mind, touching precious jewels such as gems, pearls, etc., that do not belong to oneself, or items referred to as jewels, such as conch shells, large drums, musical instruments, and weapons. This (transgression) merely requires touching and does not necessitate the intention to possess; also included in this category are wearing adornments, applying perfumes, singing, and playing music with an arrogant mind. Transgression of bathing: Bathing again before half a month has passed since the previous bath (p. 35, top), except in cases of illness or hot weather. 70. The Seventh Decad is: Killing, regret, causing disgust, playing in water, sleeping together. Frightening, hiding, using property, slandering, associating with women. Transgression of killing animals: Intentionally killing animals, whether large or small. Transgression of causing regret: Disparaging the virtues of a bhikshu's full ordination or making other bhikshus unhappy by saying things like, “You have not generated the vows.” Transgression of causing disgust: With the intention to cause revulsion, making a bhikshu feel disgusted. Transgression of playing in water: Engaging in playful activities in water with a frivolous mind. Transgression of sleeping with a woman: Staying with a woman in the same secluded place for one night. Transgression of causing fright: Showing various intimidating things to a bhikshu with the intention to tease. Transgression of hiding: Hiding a bhikshu's robes, alms bowl, and other requisites with the intention to tease.
