Moreover, the objective, which is the manner of attaining nirvana, is indeed the same. Therefore, if the root ignorance ceases, one will be liberated from all suffering; for the sake of abandoning that, genuine wisdom is generated. T3 Third, the precepts to be guarded are: Pratimokṣa vows. This means that the Pratyekabuddha's vows are also the Pratimokṣa precepts, similar to those of the Śrāvakas. T4 Fourth, the view to be realized is: the realization of individual selflessness and the absence of inherent existence in apprehended objects. This means that, according to the *Bhūmi* (levels) texts, it is explained that this is similar to the Śrāvakas, realizing only the selflessness of individuals. However, in the *Abhisamayālaṃkāra* (Ornament of Clear Realization), it is stated: To abandon the conceptualization of the apprehended object, And not abandon the grasping (subject), Based on this, the path like that of the rhinoceros, Should be known as truly embraced. As it is stated, most (scholars) agree that upon realizing the selflessness of individuals, they further realize the absence of inherent existence in one aspect of apprehended objects (which is a part of phenomena's selflessness). T5 Fifth, the resulting fruit to be attained is: the two types of nirvana, with remainder and without remainder. This is also similar to the Śrāvakas, so no separate distinction is made here. T6 Sixth, there are two subdivisions: T1 Rhinoceros-like (Pratyekabuddhas) and T2 Assembled (Pratyekabuddhas). T1 The first type is: The keen-minded, Connected by three aspirations to the end of existence, Rely upon the four complete limbs, the ultimate distinctive upasampadā (full ordination). By meditating on the sixteen aspects, in an instant, From the warmth stage of the path of preparation until the attainment of Arhatship. The Rhinoceros-like Pratyekabuddha is an extremely keen-minded one. Just as the animal rhinoceros has only one horn, they fear distractions and dwelling in solitude, hence the name. They have accumulated merits by pleasing Buddhas over a hundred great eons. Having become skilled in the six subjects of study: aggregates (skandhas), elements (dhātus), sense bases (āyatanas), dependent origination, right and wrong (appropriate and inappropriate), and truths (ārya-satyas), in their last existence, they are born into a world devoid of Buddhas and Śrāvakas. They manifest enlightenment by themselves without relying on teachers or others, and they benefit others not through verbal expressions or similar means, but through physical gestures and the manifestation of Dharma.

He, by being connected through three aspirations, in his last birth, in a world not embraced by Buddhas and Śrāvakas, is born into one of the three non-outcaste families. Relying on that basis, by the power of previous aspirations, he attains full ordination without an abbot or preceptor, and by relying on the special highest boundary of the fourth concentration, he meditates on the sixteen aspects such as the impermanence of the four noble truths (246b), thereby, in a single session, from the path of preparation up to the knowledge of an Arhat where defilements are exhausted and no longer arise. \t\t\tThis is the system of the Śrāvakas. However, the Mahāyāna Abhidharma states that one must go through rebirths from the stage of warmth up to the knowledge of the cessation of defilements and non-arising. \t\t\tTwo, those who practice the path of accumulation. \t\t\tSmall accumulation practitioner dull-facultied, great accumulation practitioner medium-facultied. \t\t\tThrough two lives, mentally engaged in liberation. \t\t\tWithout sound, they manifest the Dharma through the bodily gate. \t\t\tThe Pratyekabuddha accumulation practitioner is explained as flying in flocks like parrots. Therefore, based on practicing with companions, for the small accumulation practitioner, accumulating merit is similar to before. In their last existence, having become skilled in the six abodes (sense bases), they generate endurance up to the middling level. In order to generate the remaining paths, they again become skilled in the six abodes, and by being connected through three aspirations, in the next life, they manifest the appropriate result. This is the one with dull faculties. \t\t\tThe great accumulation practitioner, similar to the former, in their last existence, having become skilled in the six abodes, perceives the truths. They manifest one of the first three results. Since they were unable to attain Arhatship, in order to attain it, they again become skilled in the six abodes, and by being connected through three aspirations, in the next life, they manifest the appropriate result. This is the one with mediocre faculties. All of them pass through two lives each. \t\t\tAll three of these contemplate profound dependent origination and the three gates to liberation, and in order to dispel others' lack of faith, they also manifest various miraculous powers. Furthermore, when they enter begging with tranquility and (247a) gentleness, they manifest teachings that enable others to understand dependent origination, etc., through the door of non-verbal bodily expression. \t\t\tGenerally, from the Bhūmi section, it is stated that between Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, there are superior and inferior qualities in terms of faculties and results.
