There are three main ways: \t\t\tSome schools say: Among the Seven Abhidharma Treatises, which the Vaibhashikas consider to be Buddha's word (teachings) and the Sautrantikas consider to be a treatise (Shastra), is the "Dharma-Skandha" by Shariputra. It is said that this text has a length of six thousand shlokas (verses). This is the measure of one Dharma-Skandha (Dharma-heap/collection of Dharma), and they say that among the eighty thousand (Dharma-Skandhas), only this much remains, the rest have disappeared. \t\t\tAgain, some schools say: When the discourse on each category like skandhas (aggregates), dhatus (elements), ayatanas (sense-bases), and dependent origination (pratītyasamutpāda) etc. is completed, that becomes the measure of one Dharma-Skandha, and the classification is made in this way. \t\t\tAlso, some (say): The kleshas (afflictions) of desire, hatred, ignorance, pride, wrong views, and doubt, when subdivided and combined with each other, etc., become eighty thousand. For each of these, one Dharma-Skandha is taught as an antidote. And the discourse that fully explains the function of its respective antidote is considered its measure. \t\t\tOthers hold that it is the measure of the back of a strong elephant. (104 verso) \t\t\tFurthermore, in the context of the Mahayana, Nagarjuna, Bodhi (Bodhisattvas/scholars like Nagarjuna), and others say: A Dharma-text whose words are as subtle as divine garments, written on a tala (palm leaf) without leaving any margin, using a part of a hair-tip to write, and which would fill the back of a fully grown elephant, is considered one Dharma-Skandha. \t\t\tIn the *Tshig gsal* (Clear Word/Lamp), it says: In the context of the Anuttarayoga (Unsurpassed Vehicle), "With ink worthy of being carried by a mighty elephant, one can write one Dharma-Skandha." Thus it is said. If it is done in this way, then: \t\t\tIn some sutras, "It is said that Arya Devadatta recited the volumes worthy of being carried by five thousand elephants," this also becomes reasonable. Thus it is explained. The sutra referred to as "in some sutras" is the one known as the *Drin Lan Bsab Mdo* (Sutra on Repaying Kindness). \t\t\t(2) The second, the uncommon Secret Mantra Dharma Wheel, is explained in five parts: (1) Kriya Tantra, (2) Charya Tantra, (3) Yoga Tantra, (4) Anuttarayoga Tantra, (5) Explanation of other ways of teaching. \t\t\t(1) The first is: \t\t\tAmong the Four Classes of Tantra, Kriya Tantra is taught in Akaniṣṭha (Highest Pure Abode), \t\t\tAnd on the summit of Mount Meru (Sumeru), to Mañjuśrī and others. \t\t\tIn the Secret Mantra Vajrayana, the renowned Four Classes of Tantra: \t\t\tFirst, the Kriya Tantra (is taught in the place Akaniṣṭha...)
